Had a lovely meal here tonight, food was delicious as per usual at miller and carter, but to point out our server i believe her name was sarah, was so attentive and made the sweetest quick conversation whilst serving us, she had noticed our dessert wasn’t out straight away and i watched her peer over at our table disappear into the kitchen to check on it and come straight out to us with our cutlery to tell us it wouldn’t be long. had a lovely romantic meal, with amazing service, lovely table, and wow the caramel biscuit torte!! beautifully displayed and absolutely delicious!

These days of watching our pennies I don’t recommend this place. I have had superior food in a cafe. Which is sad because the first meal I had in the Miller and Carter in Bath was an excellent experience. The batter on the fish was soggy, the fish definitely second rate, barely warm and yet the mushy peas were bone dry after being under a hot lamp I guess. Total cost for a lunchtime special with soft drinks for two was £58. People, you can get more for your buck elsewhere!

Great place for a family steak dinner. We celebrated a birthday with a large group, and everyone were happy about the food.
The butcher plate for two had a combination of ribeye, rump and fillet. Not very cheap but great value for money if you’re coming hungry as it comes with two sides and many other extras.
Awesome kids menu with a main and dessert for £12 and many options for both.

Welcoming interior and decor, nicely decorated. Service was great to begin with, however a large table sat next to us and then felt like we were forgotten about, often left waiting. Food was good, 3 out of 4 with no complaints, I ordered the surf and turf and was disappointed, the fillet steak was chewy (ordered medium/rare), and the lobster tail was very fishy…..not normally a good sign . The prices were reasonable, the set lunch menu is very good value and a good selection of choice.

Amazing food! All three courses were perfect! The staff were friendly and very helpful. Even gave us a nice mini anniversary desert! Our server Alison was brilliant and chef sam cooked it all to perfection!

My starter had no dressing sauce.
The cutlery was not replaced after starter so had to wait with lettice and main meal served at same time. One one sauce brought out to share between 4 of us. Chips cold and poor quality . Meals all mixed up with wring sides and mine was meant to be fillet but was like a boot and did not eat. Wife had sirloin and that was very grisly and she left a lot. Miller used to be good food but this tonally ruined the night for our celebration. Will not be back here again.

We pre booked a table at 19:30 and finally got seated at 19:50, the wait was long it was clearly over booked for the amount of staff and it wasn’t even that busy! The food was fantastic but the service was slow and many menu items were not available due to stock levels. Many people around us were moaning about the speed of the service and wait times for food. Would not go back a second time after this experience everything was so so slow.
