My friend and I got off work late and were scrambling for a place to eat and stumbled upon this place. Safe to say, It did NOT disappoint. EVERY dish, EVERY drink, was divine. We got hand rolls, ramen, skewers, and small plates and every single time something new came to the table our mouths were on the floor. Olivia and Chef Shin went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could be. The vibes were quiet and peaceful, a true vintage Izakaya. Very accommodating to my allergies.

This is absolutely my new favorite restaurant! Chef Shin was so kind, and makes the most amazing food, the chicken meatballs were absolutely amazing, and the matcha margarita is the best drink I’ve ever had! Olivia was our server, she was so sweet and cool, I highly recommend asking for her if you go! I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, super chill and quiet, felt very intimate and cozy! 10/10 recommend and I will definitely be back!

Oh my god what a fun place I’m so happy I chose this place for my husband‘s birthday. Me and my family were so happy with all the different options on the menu. There was not one thing that we did not like and it was great. We were all able to share and ask each other what we liked. I wasn’t able to take a picture of all the food, but let me just say everything was spot on from the Ramen to the skewers. If there’s any review that makes you go to try a place. Please let it be mine and go. We were a big group of nine with kids included and even the kids enjoyed most of the food. Can’t wait to go back for more intimate dinner with my husband.

The sushi, skewers, hand rolls all taste basic – nothing tastes good, just average. For the price point it’s not worth it at all.
This place is also confusing because the entrance to Tapanomi is locked. You need to enter from the sushi restaurant next door. You are given a menu of the sushi restaurant next door. If you want the menu for Tapanomi, you need to explicitly ask for it.
