We got the breaded pork tenderloin and didn’t realize how big this thing was. Usually food this size doesn’t have the flavor to go with it, but this place is different. It took 3 meals to get to the bun lol. We also had the hot cheese balls. The food was outstanding and we can’t wait to go back. It was definitely worth the drive.

Best breaded tenderloin we have ever had! It was worth the 2-hour drive, and we will definitely make this drive again! Spicy cheese curds were quite tasty and the funnel fries were delicious but the reason for going was the breaded tenderloin which I already stated was the BEST!!

Overall excellent experience! I was quite pleased to find my favorite items on the menu such as fried oysters, fried mushrooms, clam strips, fried, green beans and green tomatoes. My whitefish dinner was excellent and a huge portion of fish and fries. I saw someone ordered a cheeseburge and it was the biggest juiciest one I’ve ever seen! Would definitely recommend and visit again.

What a great surprise in this sleepy little town! I was pleasantly surprised with the ambiance, food quality, and busyness this little tavern had on an early Saturday afternoon. The burger was very good and made to order—easily over 1/2 pound patty. But the main winner was the pretzel bites with cheese…excellent. And as busy as they were, I can understand that the service wasn’t perfect, but overall, a great meal, experience, and good time.

This place was great! We were visiting the area for a few days to relax and my husband was wanting a really good tenderloin. Found this place and I must say it was delicious. He had the regular tenderloin sandwich with onion rings and I had the cheeseburger with onion rings. Definitely will visit next time we are in the area.

This is the place to go if you want a great tenderloin that can feed 4 people. I got the large breaded and the wife got the grilled because she doesn’t like a lot of breading. But the breaded version had about the best breading to meat ratio I’ve ever had. And on top of that the flavor was excellent. It’s not enough that I cut it into quarters and one piece still made a large sandwich that hung well over the bun. And it’s not a tiny bun either. And while you are there try the hot mustard, it’s made in house and it’s delicious.

Great little place. Went for the tenderloin and it delivered. Not too thin, great seasoning and portion.
Biggest watch out is its 21 and over so id you plan to go with kids, that won’t work. The spicy cheese curds were great too.
