We came here at 9:36 when the hours are posted until 10 and the door is locked with the workers cleaning up (an older gentleman) who ignored us/shrugged us off when were politely trying to ask what was going on. It’s Labor Day weekend!

I am a regular at Rita’s back home. I always enjoy their Italian ice, especially their cotton candy flavor. The employee who served me was very helpful. My only minor issue was that the ice was slushier than normal as if their freezer wasn’t getting cold enough. I’ve never seen that before at Rita’s. Overall, it was a good experience and unbelievable location!

Sure, everyone has different experiences with this place. However, mine was quite lovely. The two girls at the counter were very nice and even let me sample some flavors of custard. I ended up getting the Birthday Cake Batter. Rita’s was a perfect, after the hot boardwalk snack.

Stopped by today for a pumpkin frozen coffee that was kindly given for free as a reward from the app! Service was fast and lady was friendly! Don’t forget to tip these nice workers even if it’s a free treat! They work hard too! Thank you for my free treat, and your reward program on the app is awesome!

i got vanilla custard w oreos and it was so so bad, it tasted really strange, and the oreos were like stale already at like 12 pm. since i didn’t like it i gave it to my friend who ate less than half before throwing it out. she then got super bathroom sick and nauseous ALL weekend. not sure what was wrong with the ice cream…

Short staffed, I get it. I’ve worked with the public for over 20 years and I know what it is to deal with not enough staff and a busy store. However, the little girl on tonight was absolutely rude about the whole process. We walked in and the group in front of us were still deciding so they had us go ahead of them. As I ordered another group came in behind us. The girl working proceeded to slam cabinets, cases, anything she could around in her irritation that people dared to come into an ice cream/water ice establishment on a hot Aug day! I then pay and hit the button for my receipt to print. Well she walked away before I was done so I asked her for my receipt. She walked back, ripped it off the printer, and threw it on the counter before walking away…..cool thanks at least it gave the 3 teenagers with me an example of how not to handle the public!

Found a hair in my gelato. When I shared this information and asked for a new one the staff member told me I would have to pay for a new one or pull the hair out and eat it anyway. When I refused I had to argue in order to receive a refund. When I went back to address it with the manager I was laughed at. They do not care. Unsanitary to say the least. Will not return to this location.
