Just 6 miles off Interstate 81, this cozy coffee house run by a lovely mother-daughter team is a true gem! Their coffee comes from a local roaster, adding to the authentic experience.
We enjoyed:
– Almond milk café latte: Amazing!
– Lavender latte: A five-star delight!
– Espresso shot: Smooth and delicious.
The pleasant service and inviting atmosphere made our visit memorable. Highly recommend this spot, and we’ll definitely return when in the area!

Ye Olde Coffee House is a wonderful addition to the Grottoes community. The coffee tastes great, and the establishment purveys its own unique beverages.
The coffeehouse has a wonderfully indie atmosphere inside, with a corner featuring a small sofa adorned with a patchwork quilt and various historical paraphernalia on the walls, a tiny (but perfectly formed) leatherworks shop where you can buy items handcrafted by one of the coffeehouse owners, a table with a built-in chess board (ask the cashier for the chess pieces, if you would like to play), and an overall homey and welcoming ambience.

This is my favorite place to sit and read or get work done: relaxing atmosphere with so many drink and snack options. I also appreciate that it’s a local, family-owned business who remember their regulars and are creating a community hub. I recommend their international selection of teas, drip coffee, and gourmet breakfast bars!! Also stop in if you’re interested in Grottoes history, they have a fantastic wall display.

Not only was the coffee delicious and reasonably priced, but the person at the counter was so incredibly friendly!
They had so much knowledge on different coffee combinations, great specials, and some really amazing leather work for sale in the shop.

I think the slogan in the name says it all. “Coffee done right” best coffee in grottoes and it’s reasonably priced! An iced coffee from 7/11 is the same price and takes like garbage. Here, it’s done right.

I don’t know what espresso they’re using to make these coffees, but I keep coming back for more! I consider myself a pretty serious coffee snob and I often prefer to make my own at home. One day, however, I ran out of beans and decided to stop here to grab an emergency coffee before work. Now they’ve got me hooked, and this is my once-in-a-while treat. Seasonal muffins and tea selection are excellent too! Can’t recommend this place enough!

The perfect little addition to our already perfect little town. I’m a business owner here as well and it is a PLEASURE to know the mother daughter duo that knocks it out of the park! Great place to meet up with friends for coffee and conversation. Service is fast, but the ambiance invites one to slow down and enjoy the experience. The quality of the beverages and pastries is unsurpassed. Their home-baked pound cake, muffins, scones, and gourmet cookies are absolutely delectable!
