Great experience at Uncle Jack’s in Independence, Kansas. The burger was outstanding, juicy and full of flavor, and perfectly paired with hand-cut, house-made French fries that really made the meal special.
The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed, with a great local vibe. There’s an impressive selection of beers, something for everyone. Free parking nearby makes it super convenient, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and cheerful, which always makes a difference.
I’d happily come back the next time I’m in the area. A must-stop if you’re in Independence and craving a great burger and a cold beer.

We have eaten here a few times. The service is awesome! The gal that has been our waitress remembers what we like! I recommend the house made spiral chips! They are always fresh and always taste great! The burgers are wonderful. Always juicy and flavor-full!!! We will be back again and again!!! Love it!!

This place is great! They are so much fun. The live music Saturday evening was so so good. Best Cajun chicken Alfredo I’ve ever had anywhere! Queso appetizer was yummy. We had a great time!

What a great bar and grill. I’m from Kansas City and I stop here every time I’m in Independence Kansas. It is a very well run restaurant and I’ve never had a bad meal or a bad experience here. The food is fantastic and always well placed on the plate and clean. We had breakfast there for the first time last weekend and I was blown away. It was delicious and good size portions. This is the best place to eat in this town. Hands Down!
If you haven’t tried their breakfast, I highly recommend it. And I heard they’re going to be getting some cool Uncle Jack cups you will be able to take with you after your meal. Looking forward to that too. Thank you for giving this town a great place to eat and spend time.

Had the mushroom swiss burger and I can tell you it’s one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Good selection of beer, friendly service. I don’t have any real complaints about it.

We just walked in because we heard the food was great. We are here in town as The Tribe Band for a NYE event. The waitresses and workers looked confused and acted like they didn’t want to serve us. It was poor service at the start and lack of communication with a lot people turning circles like they didn’t know how to run a restaurant and greet customers. This was not a good look for a group of people new to the city of Independence, KS. I prefer to give a -0.

Honestly never felt so uncomfortable and can’t believe an establishment can act this way towards customers. I don’t recommend going unless you want to be treated less than by the owners and also the Barney song Played on blast to get you to leave while you’re an active customer. Owners are not very humble. FOOD is also mediocre.
