Went for the first time on Tuesday 2/16/21… Been in the restaurant business for over 30yrs and I must say I was pretty impressed. Beautiful restaurant, I personally thought it was a little bright and no background music.Food was amazing, had the crab dip appetizer & Salmon for dinner. Couple friends had a steak dinners and loved it.Portions are huge! Service was spot on, Brandi was very attentive & knowledgeable about the menu. Management was very friendly and welcoming. Look forward to returning.

My husband and I had an exceptional dining experience. From beginning to end, service, location, and delicious meal. We were seated on the terrace with beautiful landscape with bubbling water fall in background. My husband had the dry aged ribye with shrimp, mashed potatoes, and side salad. I had the Mediterranean chicken, Mac and cheese, and side salad. Everything was delicious. The wine list was vast and we enjoyed our picks. It was very impressive that besides our waitress, the manager, and the chef visited our table to make sure we satisfied with our dinner. After dinner we walked to amphitheater and the beautifully maintained grounds surrounding the property. All in all a wonderful experience and can’t wait to visit again.

My husband and I went here for the first time tonight to celebrate our anniversary. We had reservations at 4:30 to sit outside on the patio, we were seated right away. The food was amazing, the staff was wonderful and the atmosphere was priceless (we were married at Hannon Hall at the park). Such a wonderful dinner, we will definitely be back, everything was perfect!

I almost never give a place a bad review but my wife and I had dinner at scratch steak house in Carrollton last night. My ribeye steak was 36 dollars and while it had a good flavor it was tough and had a lot of gristle! Our waitress, while she was attentive did not seem familiar with the tablet she was using to record our order. Our total bill with 1 appetizer and 1 glass of wine and 2 entrees was 167. For that kind of money I expect better.

My husband, kids, and I dined in here tonight for the first time. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The owner personally came out to greet us and made sure the food was delicious which it was. Very nice place. We highly recommend and we will definitely be back soon!

First of all, the customer service was terrible when we first got there. The waitress/hostess were very unprofessional for the price of the food. They brought soda to us knowing that the machine was not working, then the waitress told us she could bring us either WARM coke sprite or Diet Coke in cans which was totally fine but then didn’t bring us ice until we asked… when she did finally bring the ice out she brought the scooper from the ice machine to fill up each of our glasses. While our waitress was very nice she shouldn’t have been waitressing with very little experience. Now on to the food. We order the stuffed mushrooms which were good, the creamy crab and shrimp dip was not good at all and had a very fishy taste. We ordered a ribeye steak with baked potato and while the flavor was good there was so much gristle and fat I couldn’t eat any but half of the steak, I didn’t eat anything but a couple bites of the cheese and bacon from the top because it was so dry with no butter or sour cream like the menu stated And the steak was extremely rare when I ordered it medium. The French fries tasted like they were dipped in oil and then refried when we wanted them to be hot. We also ordered two short ribs and they had to be sent back because they were way to cold. We also ordered a broccoli cheese soup of the day which was bland with no flavor we will not be back to this Restraunt again. Oh by the way the manager working was Leah and she was very nice and came To our table to check on us and was the only person to come and check on us when we didn’t have our food still after a 40 minute wait.

Very unprofessional! We made reservations for a party of 12 for dinner on Monday at 6:15 PM. We were assured that they would be open and serving and even arranged the table location. Our guests had traveled from Knoxville, South Carolina, Alliance, North Canton. When we arrived the place was deserted and a message on the door saying they are closed on Monday. What? We had been assured we would be served on Monday and even discussed menu options.
One star is too high a rating but no stars was not an option.

Scratch Steak House in Carrollton, Oh… Let me first say this is the worst experience I have had in my life, there isn’t even a close second
Made reservations for 2/20 at 5PM and arrived 15 minutes early, we were seated a little after 5PM. It took 15 minutes for the waitress to bring us water, we put in our order for 2 glasses of wine, appetizer, Dry Aged New York Strip dinner with Swimming in Shrimp topper, side salad (up charge), and Scratch Pasta with a wedge salad. After an hour and a half, we finally got the side salad and we were informed by the waitress she thinks they are out of iceberg lettuce and has to go check. After another 5 minutes we were told they do not have iceberg lettuce so we changed to the Caesar salad. Finally get the Caesar salad so we can start eating, the Caesar salad was so spicy my wife could not eat it, so we split the side salad and I tried to eat the Caesar and could not. Why didn’t we complain? No waitress in sight, she doesn’t check on you, ask how you are doing, NOTHING.. Eventually the waitress came by and we told her about the salad and that “we were not very happy at the moment” and instead of apologizing and/or offering a replacement or getting a manager, she replies with “I wouldn’t be either.” And then she tells us that the delay was due to her tablet crashing, but everyone else in the room was getting their food. A manager stopped by to ask how everything was going, we told her how bad the Caesar salad was and she said she would remove it from our bill. After she left, a woman from another table asked how they got there after us and already drank a bottle of wine and got their food and we were still sitting there without our meals.
Finally, 2 hours after ordering, we get our food. The steak looked burnt, cut into it and it was medium rare in the inside. Took a bite, I have never spat my food into a napkin before in my life but it was so bad, I could not chew it and swallow it. The swimming in shrimp is one jumbo shrimp in a small portion of garlic alfredo sauce, the shrimp was rubber and not edible and the sauce was bland. The side of mac and cheese was terrible. The Scratch Pasta uses the same garlic alfredo sauce and rubber jumbo shrimp, the pasta was a greyish color, over cooked, and was not edible. We did not eat either meal.
I returned the steak with the young lady that brought out the food and said we wanted to see a manager. I had to flag down the manager to tell her about our food, she said she knew I returned the steak but had not followed up.
We explained our terrible experience from beginning to end, she asked “Well did you at least like your appetizer?” We never even got our appetizer and all we wanted to do was pay for the wine and leave, we already wasted over 2 hours of our night for 2 glasses of wine. She removed everything from the bill except the wine and offered a gift certificate to come back and have dinner on Scratch to have a better experience. The gift certificate was a $100 that had been changed to $50, that wouldn’t have even covered the meals we ordered, I assume she only wanted one of us to return at that value.
The seating at Scratch is crowded, there is no distancing and no partitions up between tables that are 3 feet apart, the level of talking is so loud you can’t hear without yelling. We overheard the loud yelling of another table returning multiple steaks and the table next to us that had ordered a Tomahawk Steak that never got the bottle of wine that comes with the Tomahawk so they wanted it removed from their bill.
We literally went to Alliance to Texas Roadhouse for a to go order. The meal was the same price as the steak at Scratch. The steak was cooked perfect, tender, and delicious. The shrimp skewers were fantastic, the rolls we great (you don’t get bread at Scratch), the salad was good. Eating our food in our hotel room had perfect ambiance… The wine we brought was much better than the wine we had at Scratch.
I can only assume the positive reviews are from employees and friends.

What a train wreck. Reservations at 6:30 seated 7:20. Totally overwhelmed and overbooked. No parking or salt in the lot. Sat at the same cold table In the bar where we wore our coats and still froze. Asked the “manager” for a table where we wouldn’t shiver through dinner. She agreed and never came back ! Literally walked past us for the next 2 hours. One of the worst dining experiences of my life. Ruined Valentine’s Day. My fault, I should have made reservations at a proven restaurant.
