The Saucy Slamwich started as a mobile food business in 2019. Now we also have a spot in the Franklin Park Mall Food Court. The Saucy Slamwich makes our own sauces that complement our Sandwiches Reubens, Cubans, Cheesesteak, Grilled Cheese, Chicken Sandwiches and recently added Burgers, Salads and wraps. We offer fresh potato chips, unique fries and thick cut beer battered onion rings.

Just ate at the new location in the Franklin Park mall. We didn’t know what to order and the worker at the register was super helpful, very patient and gave us great recommendations. We got the Wolverine Reuben with fries and will be back for both of them. The sandwich was full of great flavor you look for in a Ruben and was made with great bread. The fries were unique in a good way with just enough seasoning and crispness.

Food was delicious. Burger great! Grilled cheese burger even better and the fries might be the best I’ve ever had. The guy at the register (Cash) super helpful and provided excellent insight on what to order. Definitely will be back!

We got the Philly subs with Mac n cheese and cheese fries and it was all delicious!!
We were actually on our way to subway when we seen the food truck and I’m glad we did! The girl who took my order was super sweet!

2 subs 2 Mac n cheese cups (decent sizes) a regular cheese fry and 2 pops and it was 48$ not to bad! Fast and yummy!

Great food, friendly staff. Original menu and plenty of options. Burgers, Cubans, Wraps, Reubans, grilled cheese’s. Customize pretty much anything, the staff is awesome and the cooks are pretty flexible. Local owned, the menu is derived from their food trucks. Highly recommend.

I spent $14 on “food” from their truck in Deerfield on 4/30/25 that wasn’t worth it money or taste wise! The chicken tenders were weird. I wouldn’t even call these “fries” since fries are potatoes and not whatever the hell these boneless fries are. The amount of “cheese curds” for $9 is absolutely baffling. I wish I could get my money back!

Today I ate the grilled cheese sandwich with pulled pork at the saucy slamwich, food truck, and it was the most amazing delectable and delicious meal I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. I was salivating at the sight of it, and the second I took a bite, my eyes immediately closed with pure bliss in heaven. The food was so amazing. Just tried them for a quick snack. Got the Farm House Fries.$4.00 for a nice size basket of taters. These fries are as wide as steak fries,but thin,with a great tasting coating. The pepper was cooked right into the fries. Right amount of salt too. Just maybe the best food truck fries I’ve ever had. I’ll be trying more next time.
