Have recently gotten back into sushi and am constantly ordering carry out from them. I’ve never had a bad dish and have tried a good chunk of their menu. Aside from their selection of sushi, the bao buns are delicious and I love their unagi donburi.
It’s a small restaurant so depending on the time of day you may have to wait for a table. Most of the seating is a community, high top table.

Definitely one of the best ramen places in Columbus. We got the lunch combo and tried the tan tan and spice miso ramen it was really good. for $20 we got appetizer ramen and a drink. For drinks, we got mango, lychee GT, and highball was the high ball. Definitely coming back.

This place has an extensive menu of ramen, dry noodle, and rice dishes, along with plenty sushi and Japanese staple appetizers. It exceeded my expectations. I made a quick takeout order one evening; you can conveniently order ahead online. I just went with the seafood salad and a rainbow roll. They had very fresh seafood on both. The roll was decent 6/10 quality for me.. a little smaller than your average, and it was falling apart a little bit. The salad had a delicious sesame dressing that paried well with everything else, and it was a good portion of seafood for the price. I’d be willing to come back and try more of the menu; there’s good potential!

Such a delightful experience, a clean environment. Very cozy and the staff were welcoming. The wait time was not long even when busy, and was well worth the wait! The broth of the shoyu had a rich beef flavor and the karaage broth was a bit spicy with a flavorful creamy base. Will definitely be coming back!!

Stumbled upon this gem looking for another restaurant while in Ohio for a wedding. So glad we did. This is hands down the best ramen I have ever had. I ordered the Tan Tan broth. The amount of flavor this had was perfect. Highly recommend giving it a try whether you are a local or just visiting like me.

I had the spicy miso Ramen, noodles are perfectly bouncy and soak up every drop of flavor, no marinated egg or nori though which was a surprise.
Service is friendly, the portions are generous, and the cozy atmosphere makes it the ideal spot to savor that perfect bowl on a chilly day.

my partner and i have been going to kirin noodle bar pretty regularly for about a year now, and with such a wide array of restaurants to choose from in columbus, it says a lot that we keep coming back to kirin over and over again! all the food is phenomenal (i get the golden lava buns every single time), and i would go as far as saying they have some of the best ramen in central columbus. all their food is portioned generously with great prices as well.
their drinks are delicious, with happy hour being from 3pm-6pm (some non-alcoholic teas are included in it!) i usually get the strawberry mojito, but during happy hour my go-to is the black orchid (pictured below!)
the staff is incredibly friendly and professional, i always look forward to the service and menu recommendations from them. everything about kirin noodle bar feels top notch and high-end while staying at a great price point. i always recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family visiting!

Got two orders of the Philadelphia sushi roll and it was $20. It was just ok and the portion size was much smaller than expected. I included a photo for reference. I’m sure other things on the menu are good, just wouldn’t recommend the Philadelphia roll.
