Throwback Brewery is a small, inspired farm, brewery, & restaurant dedicated to crafting delicious, farm-fresh beer & food from local ingredients. Our brewery and pub are located within a picturesque 1860s post & beam barn on a 12-acre working farm in North Hampton, NH. We are the only brewery in NH that uses at least 70% of New England ingredients in every batch of beer. With the opening of our restaurant in July 2015, we’ve committed to the same sourcing philosophies in crafting our food as we do our beer – everything is made from scratch with lots of heart and love. At Throwback, our mission is to spread happiness through our farm-fresh beer & food, and we delight in sharing our vibrant, burgeoning farm with our community. #nofarmsnobeer

First time at Throwback Brewery and I loved it. We ordered the Korean BBQ wings, Brussels, and the Mediterranean slate—perfect sharables and all absolutely delicious. The atmosphere has a rustic, farm-style vibe with a very cool layout and comfortable seating.
Our server/bartender, Emily, was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We also checked out their little gift shop and ended up buying hats—lots of really cute swag.
I’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to hang out on the patio once the warmer weather arrives!

We always struggle to find dog friendly places with good food. Good beer, great food, atmosphere and great service. We wanted to sit outside but bees were causing nuisance so the host moved us around to the table of our choice so we could enjoy our drinks and lunch. We will definitely come back again.

Enjoyed the variety of drinks and was happy they offered other choices other than beer. Appetizers were good. Our first bartender was great! Must have arrived between shifts as we had another bartender. Maybe as they were busy, the bartender was not as personable. Overall I did enjoy my visit and would go again.

Beer is locally brewed, (Just a handful of local selections), and the ingredients are locally sourced, which won’t be considered cheap, given the location. The atmosphere is very casual, especially the outdoor dining area under the big tent, as well as other tables scattered throughout the farm. Donkeys, goats, and chickens are held in the area next to the dining area. It was like a picnic with high-end restaurant prices, but the wait staff was good. One star off for the $9 small strip of salmon added to the salad. I doubt the salmon was locally sourced though.

Throwback Brewery in North Hampton, NH is a fantastic spot for craft beer lovers and anyone looking for a casual, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, the vibe is cozy yet lively, housed in a charming converted barn that perfectly suits the rural New England setting. The brewery offers an extensive selection of unique house-brewed beers, boasting 16 taps mostly featuring their own creations, with styles ranging from refreshing pale ales to rich porters and stouts. The beer truly excites the palate and pairs wonderfully with their creative, locally sourced food menu. Highlights for me were the Korean chicken wings, which were hands-down the best I’ve ever had—crispy, flavorful, and generously portioned—and the sweet potato fries which were outstanding. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, offering great service without being intrusive. It’s a great place to relax with friends or family, with plenty of seating options including an outdoor patio for warmer days and a dog-friendly environment. If you’re a fan of well-crafted beers in a fun and friendly setting with delicious comfort and gourmet food options, Throwback Brewery is a must-visit. Expect some wait times if it’s busy, but trust me, it’s worth it—bring an empty growler to take your favorites home!

Enjoyed visiting this brewery which is actually a farm too! We sat in the brew pub and had great food with my Cabra Dorada lager. Most of the beers were IPAs or on the dark side so it would be nice to have a few lighter options. My friend got a flight which took a long time to arrive but he enjoyed. The pumpkin spice salad was so tasty and my friend enjoyed his fish tacos. After using the bathroom, I realized there was a quieter room for sitting which would’ve been preferable since we were with my elderly aunt who had trouble hearing us. All in all a cool place I would visit again!

We have been wanting to try this place since it opened. Finally stopped in! Really fun night out. We sat outside but both indoors and outdoor ambience was rustic and relaxed. Love the farm vibe. Waitstaff were friendly and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent. Very interesting beer selection. Spicy beers and sour beers were fun. The mango hot honey Margherita was quite good as well. We’ll hopefully stop by again but they stop seating at 7:30, which is a bit early on a summer night for us.

So, if you want to support local farms and stuff, I highly recommend this place.
If you want super delicious beer with funny and adorable names, I highly recommend this place.
If you want really good, locally sourced food, I highly recommend this place.
We probably spent too much money on beer, but what we tried was super yummy and we wanted to see what else was good. (Didn’t find anything I didn’t like) Meanwhile, my wallet is giving me the side-eye as I order another. They may have bewitched the beer. I have zero desire to leave.

Great beer, great food, great vibes! An excellent spot for some laid back dinner and beers, and the outdoor area is so nice. I really enjoyed my Korean beef bowl, and my kids enjoyed the donkeys and chickens they could look at. They have a kids menu and nobody minds if you’re loud!
