We visited with my daughter’s girl scout troop. They really enjoyed watching the assembly line in the factory.

$1 for one scoop of ice cream amazing!

Still love going here and getting a nice, sample of delicious ice cream for $1. You can see them working the production line, and there’s a nice gift store, and very clean restrooms. There’s even an elevator to the 2nd floor to the visitor area.

The ladies that work upstairs are very nice, personable, and enjoy their work.

There’s also a very nice park across the street from Bluebell.

Bluebell ice cream isn’t a healthy choice because of the use of cellulose gum which is a highly processed industrial gum but they could use tara gum which is a plant based alternative and natural. I am disappointed in this and will be choosing ice cream that doesn’t use cellulose gum in their products. All natural ingredients means all natural not industrial products that are highly processed so if your looking for healthy choices read the Bluebell label and find out about cellulose gum and the plant based tara gum. And you can choose from there. Bluebell tastes great but I have to choose something healthier and better natural ingredients.

We took our out of town guests here for a day trip. The entire property is nicely maintained, the representatives were all friendly and professional. The best part was sampling a variety of flavors, for a $1 a scoop! Great way to spend an afternoon and learn a little about a Texas icon in the process.

Pretty cool to watch them making ice cream, but the best was eating the ice cream. The staff was very friendly and the place was very comfortable. Each cup of ice cream was only one dollar and worth it. I strongly recommend this place, especially if you have kids.

The employees are friendly and ours kids love seeing the factory floor and learning about how the ice cream is made. And of course there’s no beating gigantic $1 scoops of bluebell!

Great place to go and have a treat! You can look through the windows to see what ice cream they are making that day and then get a cup of ice cream for $1. They also have a gift shop where you can get some Blue Bell Loot.

This place is such a neat place to visit! There’s currently no tours, but you can watch them make ice cream through a Birds Eye view in the window. No photos are allowed though. When you’re finished spend time in the gift shop which has some cute items or buy some delicious Blue Bell Ice cream at the creamery for just $1!
