Mid-Eight Sandwich Shop is one of my go-to lunch spots! The Rachel sandwich is amazing — turkey, coleslaw, Thousand Island on an onion roll, and sometimes I even add corned beef. Always delicious. They also have a great selection of local chips, sodas, and snacks. Highly recommend!

Food is an easy 10 out of time. Unique sandwiches and the owner is slanging them up for you himself. They offer a wide variety of drinks and chips and also have a few kinds of cookies at the register. I will be back.

We visited u last may, had fun with u and your son, took pics and started our 2 months roadtrip. We planned to come back, but when we were in Detroit again it was weekend and we realised u r closed on sunday.
Anyway since then we tried to find out your email, but no luck. I sent u some sms too, but guess the number is not a cellphone…
I don t wanna make public my own email here, but maybe u could? If not we ve to write u a letter 😉
And of course we had our best sandwiches and hot dogs ever in your shop. So thanks a lot to let us feel so welcomed and we really hope to see u soon 🙂

First time going. I have Celiac, and was pleased to see a gluten free option. Cole slaw and potato salad are also safe and we’re delicious ! Plenty of meat, cheese and fixings on my sandwich, and it did not fall apart !! Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend!!

Ho-ly smokes, always a really good sandwich! Hands down my new favorite sandwich shop, this is one of those places you want to tell everyone about but at the same time you’re hesitant. You want them to be massively successful but don’t want the line to be out the door or the quality or recipes to change. Fantastic sandwich shop!

So welcoming, delicious food, fun personality of a mom and pop sandwich shop. Plenty of variety on the menu, but it stays focused on delicious sandwiches. The owner noticed that my wife only ate half her sandwich, and he brought out a brown paper bag. Mr. jimmy john has never done that! And if Jared from Subway did that, I’d run for the hills because Jared’s a creep. Will be back for sure.
