Portobello was the peak of our holiday in Timmendorfer Strand. A hidden gem in the area, the food was excellent and the service very attending to our requests. Our waiter Selion was very helpful and had great suggestions about food and wine combination. Sad we found out about the place in our last night. Definitely would go again on our next visit, totally recommended.

Authentic Italian food in Timmendorfer Strand, in a cosy upstairs environment. I recommend the Pizza Rustica and the lasagne. Way better than the vast majority of German cuisine you can find around here.

I’ve been coming here for 28 years. Tonight I felt staff was inattentive. The food was fine and the ambiance is lack luster. The bathrooms haven’t been renovated for thirty years. Such a shame as I LOVE this restaurant. Will come back but am hoping for a burst of energy and passion for what the place stands for . Bring back Italian Fervor

I think I have never been to a restaurant where the staff is so grumpy as here. Sometimes they don’t even bother to look you into the eyes. Other than that, the food is okay but nothing special and it is overpriced. Bella ciao you will not see me again.

Terrible staff (hostess). Said to guests at entrance: “Go away, buy-buy!” instead of explaining the rules. Manager didn’t help and was protecting extremely rude staff of the restaurant! Never met before such a terrible staff anywhere in Europe! Unbelievable! Do not recommend!

Lange, viel zu lange und zu oft sind wir an diesem phantastischen Italiener vorbei gelaufen. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und die Weinkarte überzeugt zudem.
Das Filet auf den Nudeln war zart und rosa. Perfekt lecker.
Der Thunfisch ein wenig zu gar. Die Pasta war trotzdem sehr gut.
Die Musik und die Fotos an den Wänden waren gewöhnungsbedürftig. Der Ort zum frisch machen, sollte mal frisch gemacht werden.
