As always, love the food here. I ate in today but ended up wishing I hadn’t. Whoever the young lady was checking out at lunch time should work on providing better service to customers. I just feel like she could have been a little bit kinder overall. I think a customer should be handed their drink cup rather than it being placed on the counter (which I didn’t see her do), or make them aware you’ve done it, instead of giving them a weird look when inquired about it. But thank you to the young woman who brought my food out to me! She was incredible!

The Haddock sandwich was soooo much bigger than I expected!! So delicious!! It had four pieces of fish on it. I had to remove two pieces just so I could bite it. This was so wroth the money spent. I also got a crab cake that I was told they make by hand. Oh so delicious! I could not eat all of what I ordered and had plenty for later. I highly recommend this little Skrimp Shack! I didn’t eat this there but took it home. thank you so much Leah for the recommendation!!

The young lady at the front desk couldn’t look up from her phone long enough to even take our order. When asking her ” hey how are you” she looks up with the stankiest face and says hey with the most disrespect I’ve ever seen. Like I had just bothered her. An embarrassment to this establishment. Should be fired immediately. says her name was “Lilly” when asked but probably lied. Some of the worst service ive ever experienced in my life. Wouldn’t go here just so you don’t even have to take the chance of meeting this nasty person.

The food is amazing, the employees have no personality, except one guy in the back cooking, who when asked, handed me a tongo tray and some tartar sauce.
When ordering it was like talking to a very shy 5 yo, she didn’t speak up, and when I placed a to go order with my order she totally dismissed it and didnt even ring it up. After we paid for what she did ring up (which is what my hubs and I were eating there), she said “Oh, I didnt ring up your to go order, you need to pay for that.” I was shocked, WHY?
Then the lady that brought out our food to the table acted like I had beat her; she comes to the table and stands there looking me in the eye and says Emily, Emily, Emily. Im steadily shaking my head yes and saying “Yes Ma’am!”, repeatedly. Finally, I reached out for the food and she finally put it on the table.

First time ordering from here. We ordered online and it was ready upon arrival. We ordered the blackened haddock fish basket and the fried whiting basket with fries, hush puppies, shrimp and cornbread. We were pleased with our order as it was cooked and seasoned good. The shrimp was a bit bitter due to oil but given its 1 hr before closing its well understandable. Service was great inside, they even offered a bag for the sweet tea even though we didn’t need one. Overall, I’d say we would likely be coming back for sure.
