Blackened chicken fettuccine Alfredo was the best I ever had. Asked them to add blackened chicken to the fettuccine Alfredo and I loved it! Wife and children enjoyed the pizza and ziti. Highly recommend! Called and placed order. It was ready when we arrived. Pickup and tap to pay was quick and easy too.

We had a great experience at this local Italian restaurant in Herndon. The place was clean and cozy, and our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was delicious—especially the pasta, which is always our first choice. Everything was well prepared and tasted fresh, definitely a step above what you’d get at a chain restaurant.
They also have a good selection of beverages, from non-alcoholic drinks to wines and cocktails. And the desserts? Amazing! Plenty of great options to end the meal on a sweet note. It’s not the cheapest place around, but it’s also not fancy expensive—just a solid spot for a nice Italian meal.

I absolutely had to leave a review to give this family-owned business the credit it deserves. For those in search of an authentic Italian restaurant that brings community charm and modesty, look no further. I have been in search of a local quality cheese pie for YEARS. I prefer a robust sauce above all else. This did NOT disappoint. I don’t know what tomatoes/sauce they use but it legitimately brought me back to tomato flavors when visiting Sicily. My entire family (3 generations worth) said this made their weekend, and I couldn’t agree more. I cannot wait to come back and try their other offerings. Please show this place some more love.

Absolutely LOVED. We stopped by when we were in town for a work trip, absolutely the best food we had in Herndon. We ordered the Linguine con Gamberi and the Tortellini al Tino. They were so flavorful and creamy! Highly recommend. We will definitely be coming back!!!

Our first visit to Lucia’s Italian Ristorante in Herndon was a great experience. We tried the meatball sandwich and the turkey sandwich, and both were fresh, flavorful. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was friendly. We really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it.

Super Italian Sub. Mic Drop…. I stopped in here one day purely by chance for a takeout lunch. I had a craving for an Italian sub. And it was fantastic. The person that served me was friendly and conversational; we talked about the Italian cookies they have and the Gelato that they make in house. I just got some cookies today on my recent lunch run and they are very good. When I went back the woman recalled that we had talked about Rhubarb pies the last time I was in. I can’t even remember what I had for dinner last night and she recalled a random patron from a couple weeks ago. So amazing. I have a goal to try something different and possibly sit for dinner one night, but that sub is soooo good.

I was in the area on business and decided to try this restaurant on a whim. I am glad I brought someone else with me, otherwise they wouldn’t believe me. This restaurant’s quality is tremendous. The pizza is absolutely phenomenal and don’t get me started on the dessert case. Most places I’ve been to serve tiramisu half the size of what you get here and they’re not even half as good. If you’re just passing through the area, do yourself a favor and stop by for some top notch eats. I almost forgot to shout out the staff, they are fantastic and you can honestly tell they have passion for what they do. I may be a couple hundred miles from home, but I will come here again.

I love that everything here is homemade. No matter what you’re eating, definitely get an order of the fries, they are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s also great that you can get pizza by the slice here instead of having to order a whole pizza. I was able to get one slice of pizza and a salad, and it was perfect for lunch.

I needed a catering option that offered gluten free. A quick google search showed that Lucia’s was a solid option and was convenient. I reached out to ask what the GF options were, explained the occasion and the attendants. Stacy was really easy to work with and offered super helpful feedback on my quantities as well as accommodating my last minute request to have a white sauce added as marinara was pretty well represented.
All of the participants raved about the food! People, at a sports banquet, even went back for seconds – ensuring no food was leftover. I am hopeful that Lucia’s will get more business from this, but in the meantime, I offer my sincere thanks for creating such a memorable food experience for the guests!
