I had waited a year to try this place again and could not remember why. The food tasted good going down but ended up keeping me awake through the night until it had ALL left my body. I get it I am from southern Idaho and I am an outsider. Here’s the flip-side of the coin tho’… they have already built the Hwy around because “charming little town” has lost some of its charm. Prices are still going to go up and you will have to charge your loyal customers more to compensate. Next will be an overpass so less people are exposed and one has to wonder, are some of these places suffering because of the investors not pulling all of the way out, or is it cause and effect for the little town treating others like outsiders. I received similar treatment at the grocery store and by a few of the locals. Like they are protecting their community or something.
Let me allay any concerns for good. I am just passing through.

Very good gluten free pizza, probably the best I’ve ever had. It tasted like pizza crust! The pesto is the one I ordered. Everything tasted fresh as in made to order. The pesto though does need a boost of garlic, lemon and salt. That would bring it up to five stars .
Wonderful caring staff. I’d say best pizza in Idaho!

What a treat! Picked it out of a guide in our Air B n B and when we pulled into the parking lot, we were a little skeptical.
Food was AWESOME. Service was friendly and personable! Great little dining room.
Highly recommend

Stopped by this little hole in the wall pizza joint around 230pm today. The lady behind the counter was very nice and I asked what she liked in the menu. She told me she liked the taco pizza and the triple s. I asked her about the Alfredo pizza to which she said she didn’t like the sun dried tomatoes on it. I asked for no artichoke, she confirmed my request, I asked to replace the sun dried tomatoes with regular tomatoes, and she confirmed my request again. I asked for it to go as I was traveling but figured I would eat a slice or two in the restaurant. She brings it out, I open the box and it’s got artichokes all over it. I say “it’s got artichokes on it” looking disappointed. She makes the excuse of getting distracted with subbing the sun dried tomatoes for the regular tomatoes and forgot to take off the artichokes. Turns around and goes back in the kitchen without a sorry or offer to remake the pizza, or anything and just disappeared. So I sat there picking off what must have been 4-6oz of artichoke hearts, tried the pizza that was completely flavorless, Alfredo? Not sure but didn’t taste like it nor the garlic Alfredo it claimed to be, chicken that was dry and tasteless, that I paid $19 total with a tip included up front. I don’t mind if a place makes a mistake that’s fine, they offer to fix, and normally I’ll say it’s fine and live with it. But to not offer any resolution? Horrible customer service. At least offer something, if I say it’s fine after that, that’s on me, but to turn around and never address it again, pathetic. I ended up tossing the rest… Oh well…

Stopped in here on our way to some hot springs for lunch. So glad we did. Both the food and the service were amazing. My husband had the turkey club sandwich and loved it. Everything was fresh and tasty. I had a person pizza that was delicious. I got the artichoke spinach sauce and it was so yummy. My only complaint would be that the artichoke hearts I ordered on my pizza were marinated. I wasn’t expecting that. Thought they’d just be plain. Not a big deal but worth noting as the menu didn’t specifically say marinated. Still good though and we’d definitely go there again. Another bonus was an unusual soda option there (at least unusual to me- never seen it before) was pineapple cream soda. Was super tasty. All in all was a great experience and would highly recommend the place.

After a visit to McCall, we were looking for an on-the-way-back-to-Boise pizza place. The “usual” in Donnelly showed bad recent reviews, so we went out of our way for Shy Simon’s. We were not disappointed! Fresh ingredients, prompt service, and more than enough portions on the pizza. The Pesto was delicious!

Thai chicken pizza was absolutely amazing!! The dough is addicting. So many toppings on our mushroom, olive, pepperoni pizza. Great environment for kids and a beautiful outdoor space.

I was in town for work and wanted to try this place. What an awesome spot! The service was fantastic! Atmosphere is one of a kind and the pizza was the best I’ve had in the entire state of Idaho! I’ll be back for sure, it’s worth the 2 hour drive.

My wife’s family has a cabin in the area, and we eat out here nearly every time we visit. In all of our visits both the food and service have been incredible. As our visits are often around holiday’s I can confirm that even when they have customers out the door (such as the fourth of July, the quality does not waiver.

High quality small-town pizza place. Good crust, plenty of good toppings, not overly greasy. Definitely recommend, especially since there are limited options in the area.
Update: Still a great option for the area. I think they’ve added a couple menu items since I last visited. The mango habañero pizza is really good!
