Was craving sushi at Kensington, my friend and I have big appetites and usually go for all you can eat. We both love inari and have never tried gourmet inari.
The staff is very friendly and kind, and the inside of koi is cute and cozy.
We each had the top 7 and every single inari was amazing. My favorites are the egg + eel and crab + cheese and my friend loves the salmon and bulgogi. The meal was filling! Also, the miso is very fragrant and umami.
The food presentation was beautiful. The restaurant and washrooms are clean and spacious. An overall very pleasant atmosphere.
I will be returning to try more great inari and the magic sauce!✨✨ (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡

This hidden gem sushi spot blew my mind! plump spot prawn sushi were divine—creamy, sweet, no fishy taste at all. The chef’s skilled hands crafted perfect bites, and the warm service made the meal even better. Affordable, cozy vibe—10/10, will definitely return!

Didn’t have any reservations anywhere near our concert venue in a very busy night (Valentine’s Day and family day weekend) so looked up sushi near me and thank Google, it led us to Koi – every bite was so delicious and I’ll be back for the torched scallop, torched salmon and spicy beef inari (pocket) sushi. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious and our chef/host/server had the best sweet energy. I rarely like to eat in bright restaurants (lol if you know you know) but as a casual spot, this has such charm! Will be back for more sushi and sake!

Experienced this place for the first time today and honestly I’m sad I didn’t go here sooner!! The staff was so welcoming and it seemed like such a cozy vibe. I ended up getting the Cheese Crab and Avocado Salmon Pocket Sushi. Both were delicious and I’ll definitely be returning

We ordered all 12 varieties of their inari sushi — beautifully presented and very creative flavors. Some were truly delicious, especially the ones with fish or fried toppings. The ones with beef or certain vegetables were more average.
The inari itself is on the sweeter side, so having six per person can feel a bit heavy.
I recommend starting with the top 5–7 popular ones for 2 ppl and ordering more if you like them. Great spot for sharing and trying something new!
