My daughter and I found this little gem this past weekend. From the moment we walked in, we knew it would be great. Not only people friendly but pet friendly! The chili was phenomenal and the red lentil soup amazing, not to mention the pastries we bought. I’d say this is a place you don’t want to pass by. Shown is the chili with warm homemade cornbread .

My partner and I booked a trip in the area and I was so excited to find this place as my partner is sensitive to gluten and dairy and I am a vegan. The owners were very friendly and warm and gave us recommendations of what else to do nearby. My savory galette I got for lunch was delicious, well seasoned, and comforting. I have a huge sweet tooth so my oat fudge bar was my favorite part (sooo fudgy)! My partner had sweet potato chili with cornbread and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well, especially having not been able to indulge in cornbread for quite some time. The chili was well seasoned and had a great texture. He also noted that the portion was just right. We look forward to coming back the next time we stay in the area!

The peanut noodle salad was delicious! By far my favorite gluten free chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever had! And you MUST try the almond cake!

This was the BEST dairy free/gluten free bakery I have ever been to. Absolutely amazing. I would 100% recommend going there. The owners were extremely personable. I wish I lived closer because I would go there everyday! You will not be disappointed.

Came in for a late lunch and split a lentil soup and pumpkin curry with the Mrs. Both dishes were so delicious and would have enjoyed our trip just from that. What made our visit special enough to review was the incredible ambiance and hospitality. The people who run Tablespoons are clearly people who care about making each guest feel at home, and we hope to return the next time we are in town.

OMG!! SO happy this place came to town. Have tasted virtually everything on the menu and loved everything! The lavender Earl Grey scone is heavenly and the chick pea curry gets a ten out of ten. Can’t wait to try the Pumpkin Scone and the Pumpkin Bar, both on the specials today!!

Stopped for lunch and very pleasantly surprised at the diversity of the menu. My companion had sweet potato chili and I had a version of a vegetable panini. Nice alternative to pub food. Very clean and staff/owners were very nice. We will be back.

We travel full-time, and since our oldest has celiac disease, we all eat gluten free. It’s such a rare and wonderful feeling to walk into a restaurant and know that everything on the menu is safe and delicious! Tablespoons Kitchen gave us exactly that peace of mind.
They had a great selection of lunch options, the noodles were fantastic, and the baked goods were absolutely scrumptious. We left full, happy, and grateful, all at a very fair price.
The owners went above and beyond, even rearranging tables so our family could sit together. Their understanding of celiac and cross-contamination made us feel completely at ease.
Thank you so much, Tablespoons Kitchen, you truly made our day!

Incredible place for Gluten free and vegan options. Really delicious food from savory dishes to baked goods. You can’t tell it’s vegan or gluten free, very flavorful and not dry!
I absolutely love the gallete, heart of palm cakes, mixed berry scone, Earl grey lavender scone, and the almond cake! Definitely recommend even if you don’t have any food restrictions

Love the delicious comfort dishes here (get the palm cakes!) and decadent (but still vegan! And GF!) desserts – especially the gooey fudge bars and crumbly raspberry jam! Cute and cozy vibes and run by the loveliest people. Must go while you’re in Honesdale!
