From the moment we ordered, everything at Rooters Roost was on point. We started with the bruschetta appetizer and it was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. My wife ordered the steak and cheese hoagie with only mayo said how good the steak was — tender, juicy, and not tough at all like some places serve. We shared an 8-count of garlic knots and they were absolutely perfect. Loaded with cheese, soft on the inside, and that cheesy pull was exactly what you want.
I ordered the 8-count pepperoni rolls with banana peppers and they were hands down some of the best pepperoni rolls I’ve had in a long time — and I eat a lot of pepperoni rolls. Packed with flavor, cooked just right, and seriously addictive. I also asked our waitress what she personally recommended and she suggested the shrimp tacos. Best decision of the night. They were absolutely amazing — fresh, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. I even saved some of everything to eat cold later and they were still just as good, which says a lot.
Between the food quality, great recommendations, and overall experience, Rooters Roost definitely earned a repeat visit from us. Highly recommend if you want good portions, great flavor, and food that actually delivers.

I had the chicken tenders basket and fries. My husband had the chicken salad ( hold the anchovies and olives). The restaurant was clean. Service was okay. It’s obvious if you are a regular, or they know you, you get better service. The chicken tenders were a bit dry, not really seasoned. The fries were good as was the honey mustard dipping sauce. The salad was iceberg, chicken cut in strips and a few croutons. Dressing was packaged. Portion size was a bit small for a $15 salad.

The server was a really kind young man. The fries we got as an appetizer were good. The wings and big mother clucker were not good and the chicken tender on my sandwich was green inside. They claim it was caused by the lettuce but you can see for yourself. We will not eat here again.

A buddy and I were in town for business and decided to give the Roost a try. Man, are we glad we did! We ordered several items off the menu and were completely floored by the portion size. We both ate entirely too much and still brought lots of stuff home.

Very good food! Chicken is very delicious! I ordered Grilled Chicken Separate from the Mediterranean Pasta and it was delicious! House salad was delicious! Wasnt expecting a pickled egg and onions. Waitress told me it was homemade in restaurant and it was very good. Coffee was great! All in all for my first time being their a great experience! Recommend not showing up as soon as they open but maybe a few later. I also liked how the gentleman bringing out the salad was wearing gloves. Definitely a plus!

This place is solid. Food is excellent. Quality, portions, freshness. All of it. If I have one complaint it’s the bar service. I’ve been there 3 times and it’s always slow. It’s not really even the servers fault because they cover the restaurant area as well. Just seems like something they can improve. Also, one of the best restaurant hot spots in Morgantown if that’s your thing.

This is my favorite restaurant. I’ve been going for 6 months or so, every couple of weeks. (Photos are from different visits/take out) It’s delicious! I absolutely love their fish basket! It’s so crispy & has such good flavor along with their tartar sauce. The size varies but always as big as my hand & goes much bigger! Even with it being so large & fried, the center is never soft/mushy. It also keeps its crunch for when you warm it up the next day! The broccoli salad is also a staple for me. I could eat this with every meal! It has broccoli, cheese, bacon & a dressing that is perfection. My boys always change it up. So I’ve tried different things from their menu. The fried chicken is amazing!! & it’s reasonably priced as well! Their salads & subs are phenomenal. Really good fries & wings. I always see people around us have pizza & it looks really good! I don’t have any complaints. The guy who’s usually there (early 20’s) is awesome?… he might even be the owner because he’s always there. He’s the best! He gets it right & makes you feel comfortable. We’ll keep going back, that’s for sure! The portions for the price is exceptional. We always bring home leftovers.

As I was driving on rt 119 north after crossing over I 68 near Morgantown, I stopped at a traffic light and saw a sign for Roosters Roost. I decided to check it out and am glad I did!
The interior is welcoming and clean, with plenty of booths and tables. Service was friendly and efficient.
Although they had salads, pizza, and burgers on the menu, I had my heart set on chicken. A two-piece chicken meal (breast and thigh) that included one side and a drink, cost only $10! I added a second side for $3, so my total was $13. Unheard of in this day and age!
This was some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had! Chicken was moist, with a lot of meat, and the breading was flavorful. My two sides were mashed potatoes and macaroni & cheese. Both were very good.

is crisp outside and not dry inside. We love the loaded nachos and they have the best salad in town. The French fries and great with their gravy. We eat here at least once a week.

Love this place! I’ve been going here for a year and a half, and the food is consistently delicious!! I usually use the curbside pickup. The staff are always friendly and professional. Serving sizes are abundant. The Mac & Cheese is cheesy and yummy! Delightful restaurant all around. If you haven’t tried it yet, you won’t be disappointed.
