Server outstanding! Asian Salmon cooked perfectly, sauted button mushrooms and sautéed vegetables well-seasoned. Side salad includes hard boiled egg. Try this local restaurant- you will be glad that you do!!

On a cold snowy day, nothing is better than Franklin’s chili and sandwich combo. I had egg salad and it was the best egg salad I’ve ever had. Loves the green onion rings in it. You can also get chili and cinnamon roll combo which is a thing in this area. Great service, beautiful holiday decor in the windows and it is warm and relaxing in general.

Tried this restaurant because of the large variety of salads they have on the menu. The wedge salad was good and more than enough for one. The Oktoberfest on tap was really good. Waitresses were attentive and friendly and that alone makes all the difference. I’ll definitely return to give other meals a try.

Best steak in town along with many other great dishes. Friendly service with a great small town diner feel with a more fancy twist.

Service – our server was prompt. He took our drink order and came back with our drinks. I ordered a manhattan, which was possibly the poorest cocktail I’ve had. I drank it by the time he came back to take our food order and the empty glass sat there for the entire duration of our visit. I was not asked if I wanted another drink.
Food – we both ordered a pasta dish with alfredo sauce. My chicken parm was average, the sauce tasted like it came out of a can. The pasta was done well. Portions were avarage to small.
Overall – we walked in about 8:00 as most people were finishing. By 8:30 the entire restaurant was empty. On a Saturday night. That told me about all I needed to know. If you are only turning one table at night, there is something to be said for that. With better choices in Norfolk, I don’t see a reason to return.

Go to this place for really good food. It was fresh and delicious. I had the Beefeater and my wife had the Avacado Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The bathrooms were very clean and that is a good sign for a good eatery.
