My husband and I visited this spot tonight and absolutely loved it! Our waitress, Tatiana, was amazing — friendly, attentive, and always smiling. The ambience was lively and we learned it changes depending on the band, which adds a nice touch of variety.
The place itself is spacious, comfortable, and very clean. We ordered the nachos to start, and they were delicious. The drinks were perfectly made, and the happy hour prices can’t be beat! You can tell this is a favorite among locals, and now we understand why. We’ll definitely be back!

Simply a fantastic neighborhood bar that’s an amazing live music venue. Our food was very good, service solid, and live music amazing (even on a Wednesday night!). Roomy indoor space with a couple of pool tables in back, huge stage up front, and a great house sound system with a sound engineer that knows what he’s doing! It’s a drive for us, but we’ll be back!

Really fun bar I’ve been going there since I was 21. I went there and all the old timers hog the bar other than that great atmosphere good service.. a server took care of me she was great it’s always busy so if you want to spot you better pull your ass up early!?

We had planned a large event for 20 people, we called Sharkey’s two weeks prior to reserve a table. We were told that someone would call us back. Several day later and no call so we called again, this time they took the reservation and told us that the system will only show 10 people but she has it notated in the system that it’s for 20 people at 8pm on Friday and that we will get a confirmation email. We get the confirmation and we arrive at 8pm on Friday, the place is packed with no open tables. We asked several workers and were finally directed to the owner. He checked his system and told us there is no reservation. We showed him our confirmation and he apologized and stated he can’t find it in the system. He assured us that there was a table leaving and to give him 15 minutes. The table was about 15 ten year olds who were long since done eating and we’re running around the bar unsupervised while the two adults slowly nursed their fourth beers. We waited for 45 minutes and still no table. We finally made the decision to abandon any hope of having our reservation honored and instead moved the event to the Inn Field Pub. They were gracious enough to accommodate us last minute. The atmosphere was better, the food was better and we ended up having a much better time.

As a neighborhood hangout where there’s awesome food and excellent drinks, the last thing I expected was to see gorgeous girls behind the bar and a straight up concert happening on stage with live music and a band. As to the bartenders, look for Rob, Derek, Gabbi and Rebecca. Some bartenders are hit and miss, but those four are kind and their service is unmatched. Tip them good and they will treat you better. This place is an ecosystem of excellence offering warm vibes, great music, delicious food and unrivaled service. From the band on stage and the outside patio bar, to an awesome staff, This place nails it! Sharkys, thank you guys for bringing this experience to our community! If you’re looking for a fun hangout with great food, I’ve done the research for you. This is it.

Sharkey’s Bar and Grill is always a good time! Live music, a fun crowd, and a high-energy atmosphere make it a great place to hang out. The food is classic American bar fare and hits the spot. The staff is attentive and keeps things moving even when it’s packed. It does get loud and busy, but if you’re looking for a lively, social spot, this is it.

They have a great atmosphere, but that’s pretty much it. Rich, the owner, was nice, and tried to manage the chaos, but after 3 visits that left a bad taste in our mouths, we’re over it.
First time, service wasn’t great. Took a long time to get food. Server didn’t seem experienced, food was fine, had to chase server for checks.
Second time, had a reservation for 20. Our tables were ready on time but the servers argued in front of us as to who was going to HAVE take our table. Service was slow. Food was just OK. And we had to chase the ONE server each time for anything from drinks to ordering to getting our check.
3rd time, I called in twice, well in advance to make a 20 person reservation. First time I was told she would talk to rich and call me back. When she didn’t after a week, I called and spoke to someone claiming to be a manager. (Side note: both told me to reserve online and I explained the system wasn’t letting me, but both told me there IS space, so the reservation system was glitching even a week after being notified theres an issue). The manager said she will take care of it and the confirmation will say 10 people but she’s manually writing that it’s for 20.
The confirmation ended up saying 2 people but she warned me that it wasn’t going to be accurate but reassured me I’m in the system manually.
We get there and you have no clue what’s flying or who to talk to. Finally I was able to get someone’s attention long enough to be told to speak to Rich and turns out, there isn’t even a reservation for 2 people (like the actual confirmation said) let alone the 10 the manager said would be confirmed via text, let alone the 20 person reservation she reassured me would be on there manually.
Rich was clearly overwhelmed but I will say, he was very nice about it and seemed truly regretful about our situation.
There was a huge group of kids with what looked like their team coaches that Rich assumed would be wrapping up within 15 minutes. The adults were nursing beers while the kids were chaotically running around in the bar. Very unsafe. Right before we decided to leave, the kids all ran out into the parking lot, no supervision. We were sure the adults were going to be right behind them, but they were still nursing their beers with no regard to what the kids were doing or the business.
By the 45 minute mark from when we were told 15 minutes, we decided to leave.
This place can be so much better. More staffing for sure because staff always seems over busy and chaotic.
There should definitely be a host with how chaotic it gets. Someone to greet and a co host to seat and let whichever server know.
Reservations need to be taken better and honored better.
I hope to give this place a try again sometime, because I’d like a large venue that can handle a 20 person plus reservation. For now though… 3 times was enough for us to take a break from Sharkey’s.
