Haven’t been here in a while and was honestly super excited to try it again. Sadly I met with disappointment. Service was decent however it took a few try to make it clear and get my order correct, after 40mins my food was finally ready just for it to be incorrect, quality of food had lowered drastically. What was supposed to be bone-in wings were boneless. Drink dispenser and ice was filthy. With pictures to prove it. As well at the lady handing me my food was rude when I told her about my incorrect order. Im not one to bother so I just went home.

We have been waiting to try this place forever, we drove 2 1/2 hrs just to be highly disappointed with the food. Let’s start with the turkey sub nothing special overly salty sandwich meat, soggy bread, the same issue with the ham sub. The lemon pepper wings worst ever it honestly taste like they put the chicken directly in the fryer with no seasoning then took the chicken out and drenched them in lemon pepper seasoning the taste was so overwhelming with the lemon pepper, the fries nothing special. Will avoid this place for the horrible food.

I like their hot with lemon pepper sprinkles, I have no complaints about American Deli, they have some of the best hot wings in LA thus far. Would always suggest calling to order because the wait time in person could be 20-30 minutes otherwise, which is understandable because they get quite busy.

Called at 7:14 they Tell me the order will be ready at 740. I get in there at 743 to give them extra time JUST IN CASE, go to the counter at 745 guy tells me coming out now. Didn’t walk out with my order till 754 mind you my break is 730-8 so what time do I have to eat my food?

They are so thorough, I mean napkins, straw, utensils, ranch sauce it was all there. Food presentation was on point. Aromas had me ready at the door!!

I witnessed some extremely unsanitary practices during my visit. The cook was wearing gloves but repeatedly scratched his face with them on. He then continued to handle food and touch the foil used for serving fries with the same contaminated gloves. No glove change, no hand washing.
Meanwhile the cashier was wearing gloves while swiping through her phone, then placed it back in her pocket and immediately began making a sandwich touching the ham and bread with those same gloves. That’s completely unacceptable and unhygienic.
On top of that the beverage station was filthy and clearly not being maintained. The floor, rug, counter, and the entire small area were dirty and gave a neglected impression. This level of cleanliness and food handling is deeply concerning and needs to be addressed immediately.

Overpriced and cold. Tried to charge me $2 for a side of hot sauce, AFTER I paid for some overpriced wings. lol laughable. What a rip off and scam.

The food was great and prepared in a timely fashion. They were busy for the dinner rush. The staff was attentive and efficient in filling all the orders. There is no place to sit inside to eat so all orders are to go. Maybe in the future this will change. But for now it is a great staple of the community to eat.
