One word: YES!!! This place has BOMB micheladas. Micheladas are my favorite drink and this place knows how to make it right and for a great price. They are huge and only $10! I will 100% come back here any time I am on the Riverwalk, no question. The michelada was perfectly balanced and super delicious. I have no complaints at all.

The service was quick and friendly, and the painting is a great place to snap a photo of your drink. I found my new michelada spot in San Antonio!

We visited the Riverwalk on the weekend. After some walking and a boat ride on a hot, sunny day, we felt very thirsty and discovered this worthwhile spot. We ordered Mango Nada and fresh pineapple juice, both of which were excellent. They also offer a variety of other fresh fruit juices as well.

Food was a 10/10 we tried queso and shrimp and chicken fajitas. So good. The manager walked to ask if everything was alright he asked every table I loved that. He checked us out and got us to go boxes. Sweet guy. Will definitely be back. He said they’re #1 on the riverwalk I could absolutely believe it.

Good drinks here. Pricey but It was split among 2 so it wasn’t too bad. They have various flavor combos available. Definitely a must if you like to drink while walking the riverwalk

The reason I am giving two stars is because how overpriced these daiquiris are, and have very little alcohol in them. Yes, they are cool souvenirs to take home, don’t get me wrong. But if I’m paying almost $60 for two drinks, I would expect them to get me a little tipsy right after. I didn’t taste any alcohol, I even tasted the alcohol that was in the tubes, and it wasn’t strong. So I’m disappointed. But cool souvenir.

Gather ‘round, River Walk rogues, because the Thirsty Aztec is where you’ll either emerge as a margarita-fueled legend or stumble away wondering if you just drank a candy store. Me, my pal Candice, and my mom (still the coolest mom on the block) sauntered into this lively little dive under the Aztec Theatre, ready to sip our way into the “Legend of the Thirsty Aztec” saga. Spoiler: We left as honorary Amiki warriors, clutching our epic souvenir cups and giggling like we’d just outsmarted the Sun god himself.
We dove headfirst into the Da Aztec, a 44oz frozen monster that’s basically a slushie for titans. At roughly $40 each (loaded with 3 rum shots and 3 jello shots per person—because we don’t mess around), it’s a splurge, but it’s a team-building exercise in liquid courage. You pick your flavors, and we went wild: Candice and I both rocked a Peach-Mango-Strawberry swirl (like a sunset in a cup, fruity and fabulous), while Mom, our resident rebel, crafted a Lime-Watermelon-Piña Colada masterpiece she christened “The Aztec Mama.” The result? A Technicolor trio of frozen bliss that had us toasting like we’d just saved River City from a flood. Those jello shots? Wobbly little tricksters that sneak up like Jade stealing lake water. The rum shots? Smooth enough to make you feel like you’re sailing the River Walk like a pirate king.
The souvenir cup deal is the real treasure here. Bring it back, and refills are half-price—forever! We’re already plotting our next River Walk strut to cash in. The staff was a riot, slinging samples like they were auditioning for a tequila-fueled talent show, and the riverfront view was pure San Antonio magic. Downsides? It’s peak tourist trap territory (it’s the River Walk, what did we expect?), and the price might make your bank account shed a tear.
In short, Thirsty Aztec is like if an Aztec god opened a tiki bar and made it Instagram-ready. Perfect for groups ready to sip, stroll, and channel Jade’s mischievous vibes. Just pace yourself—those drinks are sweeter than a Texas peach and hit harder than a summer heatwave. We’ll be back, cups in hand, ready to rule the river again! #ThirstyAztecTales

Customer service is ok. They are just busy I think.

Not worth it to me.
