Not sure how to review this place. I stayed very local in this area because of work. I love Thai restaurants, but I’ll go ahead and say that I will not return to this one. I had the Spicy Bangkok fried rice. It’s a very simple dish, no frills and you can’t screw it up. Or so I thought. I ordered chicken in it, but I doubt they put any chicken in it at all. It was overly salty, and there was nothing but white onions and a few…like 4 tiny pieces of chicken in it. C’mon man how does a place like this not make fried rice correctly? I guess I’m asking the wrong question here.
As far as the restaurant itself? It kinda felt janky. Like one of those sketchy restaurants that you can only order take out and there are no tables. But of course there are tables at this one. Anyhow, not that this mattered, but the person taking my order wasn’t very nice as well. So that contributed to how weird and off this place felt.

Food was not good at all. It was my first time there and would be my last time. Basically, how can you get your #1 dish wrong, pad Thai was disgusting . It was simply soupy and mooshy; pretty much no flavor to this dish. Just spicy noodles even though it was mild. The chicken in the dish was boiled like consistency. Didn’t like this dish at all, I have had it better at other places.
Also, service wasn’t good, grumpy people with no waitress besides the front desk!
It was expensive for lunch, $15 is a bit too much. This would be a dinner price.

Anyhow, hope this helps other people!

I use to get take out here at least 3/4 times a month ($80+). Foods not bad. Today I spent $20 left a 16% tip even tho Im getting no table service. Asked for extra duck sauce and she wouldn’t charge my card, I had no cash I got no duck sauce. Won’t be stopping by 3/4 times or ever anymore! What happen to treating your customers and clients like you care? (2oz duck sauce is 5cents fyi)

The food is good , I ordered the garlic fried rice , Bangkok chicken and crispy rolls for the lunch special. They are short staffed so dine-in service is not available in the traditional sense . You can eat your take-out at the tables .

The food was tasty, far better than average. There was no waitress so the place was as close to clean as possible. The prices were very low compared to other Thai restaurants, which gives it a lot of extra credits. Tasty food and low prices make a winning combination.

Lunch staple at my office for a good reason. Everything I’ve tried has been great and the staff are always very friendly. Their garlic fried rice is absolutely amazing and I would eat it every day if I could. Delicious chicken, nice tender onions, perfect hint of spice (I usually get medium+), and a good portion of food. They just recently brought back in-person dining it seems, so I’ll have to try that out.

Decided to try a new place for Thai food because I ordered to go. Very happy with everything that I got. The food exceeded my expectations and the service was quite nice. Not sure if they gave me something extra on purpose or made a mistake with my order but whatever extra rolls they gave me were also excellent. My new favorite spot for whenever I crave Thai food

4.67/5 When Haang’s went on hiatus, we used this as an opportunity to try a new local Thai place. Spicy Bangkok is a solid way to go. They’re happy to make the food as spicy as you request and for me, it’s super!! The fried rice and curry dishes have had incredible flavor. It’s clear they use quality ingredients and spices that exceed those at other takeout restaurants. My only gripe is I was used to getting more protein for the money at Haang’s.

A simple mistake by the restaurant, they gave a very spicy dish which we ask for was a mild dish no big deal right? No instead of acknowledging their human error because people make mistakes ( unless you work there), they decide to give us some grief about it as if we don’t know what we like to eat. In addition, when they remade the dish they gave us a lesser portion as well. I didn’t want to waste time arguing about it. Beware to whoever orders from them. If there’s ANY MISTAKE on their part, it won’t be acknowledged and you will get the blame and the answer from them is a remade dish with lesser portions than when you returned the previous one.
