This was my first and absolutely last time visiting this establishment. My family and I stopped in for a quick bite, and the experience was disappointing from start to finish.
Upon entering, the front clerk was rude, disengaged, short, and more focused on her phone than on greeting customers. When we sat down, most of our food—including the fries—was cold.
We then noticed a sign stating that if anyone at the table wasted food, each person would be charged an additional $10. On top of that, my 9- and 10-year-old were charged adult prices solely because of their height.
To make matters worse, as we were leaving, we saw yet another sign stating that there’s a $1.99 upcharge if you take ice cream to-go.
I will never visit this establishment again. The place was nearly empty when we arrived, and now I understand why.

If you’ve Ever been to the Gohan A.Y.C.E. in Duluth Georgia were there so many options you are almost overwhelmed sensory wise. A total experience….WELLLLL THIS AIN’T THAT
The first thing I noticed that the parking lot was relatively Empty on a beautiful 65° Saturday afternoon. Red flag
This is a basic garden variety Chinese buffet
The lemon fried chicken wings were seasoned perfectly but when you break them open it look like they were bruised. I only could eat two but keep wondering how they get that bruise
Buffet Chinese food in Georgia quality. There is some type of sweet/Herbal chicken bites that were very tasty. Everything else basic basic. You got to pay FIRST and then you have to pay an extra $10 if you don’t eat all your food on your plate so I advise you to sample a little bits first to see what you like it before piling your plate high. The baked salmon flavor was faintly seasoned and the catfish was rubbery. Not quite sure what batter they used but it wasn’t cornmeal
The sushi didn’t look like any sushi I’ve ever had and I didn’t get any but I’m sure it was basic too
The oranges were not sweet I guess because they were not in season. I’m full. Grateful for the money to be able to eat out Would I make an extra trip to come back?
Nope I can travel less Miles for basic buffet
Side note. Come very hungry and it’ll tastes better

Great buffet sushi! There was plenty and made very well.
The rest of the food was decent, but typical Chinese buffet. I was kinda hoping for a more rice themed buffet. Besides the sushi, there was a rice cooker with white rice and a tray of fried rice. I feel like when you name you’re restaurant Gohan, you’d have more rice variants.
The place looked clean, but the theme was wrong. I heard it used to be a juicy crab, and it looked like they were fast to move out and didn’t take any time to update the decor.
They have a robot yo clean up the dishes! That part is always fun. It comes around and you just put your plates in the bin and it shuffles away! So cool.
The price was good and drinks were included in the price. It does use Pepsi products though!
I was stuffed so I don’t have huge complaints! I would eat here again.

My experience at this buffet was very disappointing. You have to pay before you eat, which is frustrating when the food is not up to par. There was food on the floor, and most of the dishes were not available, so I had to keep eating the same things over and over again. There were only four lines of food, which really limited the options. The only good parts were the sushi and the drinks, which were fine, but everything else was bad. The service was also lacking; the robot serving food bumped into me twice. I definitely will not be going back to this place. Giving this place a one star is being generous.

My sister and I had an amazing time. The wait was really long and I think they should implement outside speakers when they are full so ppl outside now what number is next or implement the text system that let’s you know when your table is ready. Other than that the food was fresh and delicious. Soooo many cool options. Love the Pho bar and the crab legs were great quality. We will be bk soon even though it’s over an hour drive for us, it is definitely worth it.

First and last time here my son and I goes to the buffets in the area to try them out because hot and cold has been our go to for years we wanted to try something new however this wasn’t it most of the food look dry no one is maintaining food quality of the food but they keep it clean … great oldie music station which is a first I never seen/heard a Chinese buffet play this genre of music “urban music”…. Very disappointing should have went to golden apple they killing the competition hands down a waste of money coming here… some times it’s not worth trying something new…. Epic fail Gohan

Nothing was edible, sweet and sour chicken and hibachi chicken were so dry that you couldn’t chew them. The pepper steak was so tough that you couldn’t bite through it. Lo mien was over cooked. We left after one plate. When this location opened it was really good and had just been going downhill quickly.

Nice restaurant with very good customer service and a decent variety of food. Although the food was flavorful, it was barely warm. I tried several options but none of them were close to being hot or very warm. The little robot that comes around to collet dishes was very annoying as it came around too often and interrupted our table trying to eat and converse. There is one standard price, completely self-serve including drinks and desserts.

The food was fresh and everything was clean. They had a little robot that went from table to table asking for your dirty dishes. The sushi was being made fresh constantly and there was a good variety of food! I wish that the steamed/boiled shrimp had used some crab boil or something as it needed something. They had something called salt n pepper crab and shrimp that I had never seen before. It’s cooked shell and all. I was surprised that the shell just crumbled, so I’m guessing you eat shell and all. Overall, it was a good bargain with good food!

Not to be confused with the variety that is available in the duluth, Gohan, this one is very small, no snow crab legs, and in comparison a very limited selection to the one in Duluth, but priced accordingly as well, it’s about half the price. Pretty stand buffet, there were really good some items I put on every plate, but there was some I wish I never tried. What’s pretty quiet and chill when I went. I got there about eight p m on a Saturday. Id go back if i was in the area, but it’s not somewhere I would drive across town to go to.
