Thanks for being part of Après Fuoco this winter — you helped make it something really special. We’re closing the pop-up for the season, and we’re already looking forward to seeing you back at Bar Fuoco when the patio opens and the warm weather returns.

The holiday apres ski themed pop up was a wonderful experience. So nice to sit outside in late December, with cozy couches, wood fire pits and heaters. Enjoyed the pizzas and small plates. Great snacks and drinks, to catch up with friends during this holiday season. The place was packed, and the vibe and atmosphere gave it a nightclub feel. Next time let’s dance!❤️

I’d give the atmosphere and food 6 stars if I could. A great food experience, good sized portions for a tapas bar, unique and relaxing atmosphere. You can tell each dish had a lot of thought put into the details.

While the atmosphere was great, the rest of our experience was less than ideal. When we were about to order, we were told that there was no more pizza dough. We continued to see pizzas come out well after we were told about this and the manager was not able to explain it when I asked. All of us ordered our second (and more expensive) choices. Two of us got the lobster roll and two of us got the steak sandwich. I wouldn’t say either dish was good, especially for the size and price. We also finished our lobster rolls about 15 minutes before the steak sandwiches came out. The lobster roll also had capers and tomatoes on it. If those items were listed on the menu, I wouldn’t have ordered it. The menu descriptions were not consistent with what we got. Overall experience is not worth going back.

I was so excited to try this place and was super disappointed. We got seated around 7:30pm and attempted to order pizzas. We were told they were already out of pizza dough for the night. However, throughout the rest of the evening we noticed several other tables receiving pizzas. I ended up ordering my second choice, the lobster roll. The role was comically small. It was mostly an overly thick slice of tomatoe and shrimp, the lobster was minimal. My friends ordered the steak sandwich which came with two halves but my lobster roll only came with one? If the lobster roll is priced higher it should at least come with an equal amount of food. I can at least say the restaurant was beautiful and our waitress was nice.

Such an awesome addition to Chagrin Falls! Talk about a secret patio with killer vibes! It’s tucked discreetly behind JoJo’s Bar, when you walk in you’ll be shocked! The upgrades are gorgeous and the place is just full of good vibes! The entire staff is super friendly and helpful, the food is artful, exciting and delicious, and the drinks are killer! It’s like Michelin Star food, in a craft cocktail lounge, priced for the suburbs of Cleveland! Bravo, Rick Doody and Team! I know where I’ll be spending my summer!

We visited Bar Fuoco for the first time last night during their Apres Fuoco December event. We arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation time and were told they were waiting for tables to clear out… No problem! That is until we waited out in the cold for about 50 minutes. There were two small fire pits outside with logs that were dying out, so my husband tended to those to keep myself and the others waiting warm.
We booked our reservation specifically for seating by the couches but when our turn finally came we were told only tables were available. They seated us next to one of the empty couches. Once inside, you can tell there was a vision for the aesthetic of Apres Fuoco, but that was completely overshadowed by the sloppy layout of the restaurant. Servers were squeezing between tables and couches with barely any room, sometimes carrying comically long shotskis, nearly knocking into the heads of people seated nearby. People who were tired of standing out in the cold for their table or waiting for bar seating to open up crowded around the heaters inside the restaurant area near those trying to eat.
Service was slow to come by and rushed when they did manage to get to the table to take our orders. I ordered the Chagrin Way martini (listed as a dirty vodka martini) and was given one with gin instead. My husband said his margarita pizza was “just okay” but at least it was hot. The rest of our table ordered drinks but decided to skip food based on the complaints of diners around us. When we asked for a to-go box for the rest of the pizza, a staff member said their manager was out, so they didn’t know where the pizza boxes were. Pretty wild for a restaurant that serves pizza as a staple menu item to not know where your boxes are. She gave us a regular styrofoam container which we figured was about as good as it was going to get.
Overall this is a pop-up idea that could have been well-executed but turned into an overpriced and over-stimulating dining experience that left us hungry for better food and a good cocktail just about anywhere else. Steer clear and try some of the other wonderful options that are offered around Chagrin Falls.

I wanted to like this place because the idea is very cool, but the experience was pretty awful. We waited nearly an hour past our reservation before we were seated and the group in front of us had the same experience. Once inside it was extremely cramped and the layout was just not well thought out, we witnessed the staff having to duck under the decorations and squeezing to get past seating. The pizza was okay but nothing id go back for and unfortunately my drink was very disappointing. All in all I can’t recommend it.

I wish the service here would match the fun/exciting atmosphere they market. We ordered arancini and a pizza. The pizza took over an hour to arrive. A waitress even stopped by to ask if we still wanted it. Then the hostess came by to tell us our 1.5 hour time limit was up, despite it taking over an hour for our pizza took arrive. Lastly our check came and I was pleased to see our second round of drinks was removed (assuming our poor service), only for the waitress to come by and share she messed up the check and asked for my card again. I won’t be back.

You won’t find dine dining here. You have to write down your order and use silverware that’s already in a caddy on the table.
Staff eats in front of the guests.
Not sure how this place fits into the Chagrin Falls area, time will tell.
I had the salmon entree the fish was perfect the succotash was dry and lacked flavor. Pizza was good but doesn’t come cut, they give scissors for that..
NO Gluten free pizza dough or bread

Went out for early dinner with one of my besties. Tasty drinks, delicious food and excellent service. We had the grilled steak baguette, the lobster roll, grilled corn and the berry crostata for dessert.
The only issue was the parking. There was no onsite parking at all. Street parking was scarce. The lot was about a block away.
