Stopped in for a quick bite. The fatty brisket was really good. I liked that they cut it thinner than most BBQ joints. The baked potatoes were mediocre. The pork was ok, but had two inedible parts in it. The yeast rolls are delightful. Cherry Coke at the fountain drink machine and the 60s music bumping were added bonus points.
Also a shout out to Jason who very engaging and told us all about the process.

Been meaning to try Ten50 for a while. Sure glad I did. Some of the most tender and juicy brisket ever! Had one rib, could have had 4 more! The beans were delicious. The vinegar based Cole slaw won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I loved it! Banana Pudding was very good, can’t give it a 10 or my wife should shoot me. Her mom’s BP is the best in the world. She could open a franchise just selling her BP.
Will be back to try the other meats.
And for all who say it’s too expensive, then y’all don’t know great BBQ. Hutchins is also great but just as expensive. In fact their brisket is $4.00/lb higher. You get what you pay for.

Whenever I visit Texas, I make it a point to indulge in tacos (they have the best ones, even better than California! ) and BBQ. Texas undoubtedly excels in smoked meats. During my recent trip, I visited Ten50 BBQ in Richardson, TX. I arrived just as lunchtime began, so it wasn’t crowded initially, but it soon became bustling.

Entering the restaurant, you walk through the smokehouse. Here, the butcher asks for your order, weighs everything, and places it on a tray. You then proceed inside to choose your sides and pay. The customer service throughout was excellent – friendly, helpful, and they offered great suggestions.

I enjoy a variety of proteins, so I chose a slice of brisket, a rib, half a jalapeño sausage, and one of their jalapeño poppers, along with a side of beans. I started with the rib, which was as delicious as it looked – tender, moist, and smoky, with a fantastic rub. The brisket was next and it was perfectly smoked with that classic Texas texture. Although I didn’t get enough to savor the bark, the rub’s flavor was delightful. The jalapeño popper was outstanding, cooked to perfection with soft and fully cooked bacon. The sausage was equally impressive. However, the beans were the highlight! Their flavor was intensely good, though I didn’t have the chance to ask what was in them.

The dining room staff was also very helpful. There was ample indoor and outdoor seating, and the restrooms were clean. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal and experiencing it yourself!

Presentation was definitely on point, looked really nice! The BBQ itself was delicious, top-notch even. However, all the sides were seriously lacking in flavor and seasoning, which was a bummer. For the price we paid, it just wasn’t worth it in the end. Honestly, I was expecting more for $170.

The barbecue is absolutely delicious! The only thing I don’t like is how
Fast my food cools down from the chopping block to the table. By the time I get to the table, my food is like nuke warm. Great music selection they have playing. Very clean place. Expensive but what good bbq place isn’t. They’re pickles their homemade, so they have a different taste.

This was one of the most overpriced, overrated and worst bbq I have ever had in Texas! This place is for high class people who don’t know bbq. The brisket was DRY, sausage had no flavor just spice, beans were ok, potato salad was ok, corn was trash and rolls ok. We definitely will not be wasting our money on this nonsense. This what happens when you hire cheap labor to do the cooking. Go to Terry black or something

A great place to experience Texas BBQ. Only 4 stars based on other Texas style bbq but definitely the best in Richardson! Brisket and Texas Twinkies were very good as were the sides. Overall a very good experience. I wish I could give them a 4.5.

Ten50 offers a really nice vibe with great outdoor seating and a spacious patio, perfect for families as it’s quite kid-friendly. Their bar boasts a good selection of liquor, and the walk-in entry definitely gives off a cool “Hard 8” feel. Seating in the bar area is fantastic if you’re a party of two.

Now, for the food – it was a bit mediocre overall. The house sausage was a definite highlight and quite good, but the 5-cheese mac wasn’t great. The beans, which had brisket in them, were just okay. The pickles were definitely house made I tasted more vinaigrette than the dill i was lookong for. The onions really didn’t hold much taste either. One small detail: those napkins are staying put!

Overall, a great spot for the atmosphere and drinks, but the food could use some improvement.

The smoke flavor is not real strong but the tenderness and juicy was on point. The food temperature was luck warm. We came late, after the lunch hour. I was not thrilled that we had to buy a dinner roll, so I didn’t. The banana pudding was not special at all, bland flavor and my one slice of banana was soggy and lacked flavor. The fried Okra was a hit!! Hot and the seasoning they used were wonderful. I would come again if in the area and wanted BBQ
