Our first time in Sandusky, we picked Shore House Tavern for dinner. What a lucky pick! Service was very good. Atmosphere also very good. Wife and son got tacos which they raved about. My cheeseburger was ok, but the fries were the star of my meal.

It’s a casual place with really good food! I got the blackened Red Snapper special and it was divine! The fish was cooked perfectly, the seasoning on point, and the sauce was fabulous!!!!
My son got the salmon burger and he liked it. The fries were unique – fresh cut and sliced thin almost like potato chips, but thick enough to be fry-like.
Service was good and the food came pretty quickly. We’d definitely return the next time we’re here. Klarissa was our server and was very good. There was one other server, and he seemed to be doing well too.

This place is fantastic with a weekly rotating chefs specials menu always adding variety. But the standard menu is also great. It does not have the biggest menu, but everything on here is good. The restaurant is small and can fill up fast. But service even with a near full house is fast and friendly. For apps, I’d recommend the 7 layer dip. It’s something different you don’t find anywhere, and it’s a better version of Nachos than some Mexican restaurants. For entrees, the Mac and cheese is great, but as I said, the chef specials are always fun. If you are worried about parking, there is plenty with several free parking lots around.

We had a good time here! They have an outdoor area behind the building as well as bar and table seating inside. We had a delicious dinner and took a DORA cup of beer with us to walk around by the lake. The Mac and Cheese was outstanding and next time I will add lobster. We had the shrimp Caesar salad and asked if they would blacken the shrimp and they were happy to. It was great and the portion was reasonable as well. Definitely a fun place to have dinner.

Alyx was an amazing server. So fast, attentive, and friendly all while getting very busy. We wanted a good perch sandwich and I’m so glad we found this place. It’s FANTASTIC. Seasoned perfectly, comes with all the most complimentary parts of the perfect sandwich, and it was fresh, hot, and so fast. The sweet potato tots were a huge hit. Definitely a must try!

Servers were so friendly!!! Food was amazing! My group got 2 mac and cheese variations, some perch, and then buffalo kitchen dip! Everything was amazing and our server was super attentive. We got a cheesecake cannoli concoction and it was legit amazeballs! THE best finger confection I have ever had!

We ordered wings, a burger and fish and chips. The wings were phenomenal and we wished that we got more. Same fore the fish and chips; great filet, flavorful batter and the chips were delicious.
On the other hand, the burger was a bit disappointing, it was a bit dry and burned. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely go again!

Such good food. I’ve been here 5 times and every time the food has exceeded my expectations! I’ve had the breakfast flatbread, burger, and most recently chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles was amazing! I highly recommend. It’s a little pricier than most lunch restaurants around but well worth the quality and taste.

The minute we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cozy interior instantly put us at ease, making it the perfect spot to unwind and catch up.
The staff behind the bar was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our glasses were never empty. We sampled a variety of bourbon beers and cocktails, all expertly crafted and delicious. It was the kind of place where conversation flowed effortlessly, and before we knew it, hours had passed.
While we didn’t have a chance to try the food on this visit, the menu looked tempting. We’re already planning a return trip to sample their culinary delights, perhaps a bit earlier in the day to fully enjoy the experience.
