I went there for lunch. It was too crowded and we waited for about half an hour. Their food was fantastic! We ordered soup and salad and veggie dishes.
The area was so good and well decorated.
The only thing that was a bit annoying was the sound of the crowd! I couldn’t even hear my next chair friend’s voice.
Prices are a bit more than a usual coffee shop. All in all, you should experience their food.
Highly recommended.

The (gluten free) waffled grilled cheese used to be two thick slabs of sourdough bread with a delicious white cheese. I just ordered it for brunch and it was egregiously thinly sliced bread and the cheese had a nastily strong parmesan taste that overpowered everything. I also asked for a side of chips and got no side and the waitress never came back due to their business I assume. I never had these problems before so I hope they can fix these issues soon.

We all ordered lattes and they came in paper to go cups instead of ceramic cups even though we were dining in. The “French style omelettes” are all American style omelettes.
My sister had the ricotta egg dish and it was completely different than the same dish at other locations. It was basically an overcooked scramble on top of a piece of soggy toast, and it had a HAIR cooked into it. Will not be coming back to this location.

First time here after hearing about it for years!

A friend and I came for brunch at 1pm on a Thursday. It was a brief wait but cleared out shortly.

We had the half n half sandwich and soup and the waffled grilled cheese (I rquested just the white cheddar) and red lentil soup. Both were delicious! We also had the lavender lemonade.

Service was spot on, and atmosphere was cozy.

I love the vibe. Clean modern design, great smells, it’s bustling here on weekend mornings. The food and coffee drinks are definitely the highlights of my visit there. As well as just connecting and chatting with whoever I’m there with. My favorite is the broken yolk with avocado, cheese, add tomatoes, add mayonnaise on sourdough, substitute potatoes for the arugula salad. The coffee drinks are great. Their bakery selection is solid. Great seasonal foods and beverages. It’s real.busy weekend mornings so be prepared for a bit of a wait.

This is a nice, and slightly upscale breakfast and lunch spot. They have a good selection of traditional options as well as some more unique dishes. I tried the breakfast sandwich which was tasty, though I wish it included a side for the price. Prices in general are pretty high across the board. The coffee bar is a great idea though, and allows you to get as much coffee as you want without having to wait for a refill. Service was very friendly and our food came out quickly. I would try and arrive early if you want to avoid waiting for a table.

One of the best breakfast places in the Indy area, and this particular location is in Clay Terrace on the Carmel/Westfield border. It’s crowded on the weekends so you might have to wait for a table. Outdoor seating is available. The food is very good. Big slabs of toast, including cinnamon sugar toast, come with every meal.

We had a nice breakfast here on a Sunday morning. We arrived around 9:30 and we were seated immediately. Soon afterwards it looked like folks were waiting for a while. Super friendly service, great food. Be sure to get Cinnamon toast as a side!

Parachou is a great place for brunch.
Broad Ripple and Downtown are probably my favorite locations but the one at Clay Terrace provides the same great service and delicious food.
Servers have always been nice and friendly, and the food is pretty quick.

The Cuban breakfast is a great option, the jalapeno pesto sauce along with the avocado gives it a fresh taste. Since the first I had it they recommended I add Chorizo or Bacon but I add both.

The omelettes are very good and filling. There’s always and omelette of the day, it allows you the opportunity to try something different. Their toast is super good, probably one of my favorite. Their jam gives a good balance to their Sourdough Toast and their Cinnamon Toast is delicious as it comes.

The Gluten Free Waffle is a must try. It’s fluffy and it has a great flavor.

The coffee is not the greatest in my opinion but the limited teas are really good. The mimosas are good

Great food in a clean and relaxed ambience.

Let’s face it, Carmel, Indiana has some incredible restaurants and breakfast eateries… But if you’re looking for morning-time elegance…or that late afternoon brunch, this “student union for adults” is the place for you! And if you’re running a little late, Cafe Patachou, has your back, as most brunch restaurants around here close at 2:00, they remain open ‘till 3:00.

You may pay a little bit more at this restaurant, but it’s well worth it. The atmosphere, quality of food, and unique menu are like none other.

Additionally, they have a spacious bar and offer classic drinks, such as mimosas, and no matter who your server is, you’re guaranteed exceptional service!

The consistent high standards I experienced at this restaurant can only be the result of fantastic top-down management by GM Leigha, who definitely sets the example. Her smile and kind demeanor will brighten your morning, especially on those cold Indiana winter days!

Thank you everyone at Cafe Patachou for always providing a fantastic experience whether I’m by myself or with my family! PS I LOVE the music Here!! Every time!
