The seating is comfortable and inviting and the staff was extremely pleasant and hospitable.
Small, family owned, fast service, gem.
Apple fritter French toast is ingenious!
Also got the Denver omelette. While I wasn’t expecting the cheese to be American sliced cheese, it works surprisingly well!
All around about $25 with tip for two people and great service.
I ordered; 1 egg, bacon, home fries, toast and a chocolate covered donut.
The egg, bacon and toast were cooked to perfection, but I don’t know what the hell those potatoes were…definitely not home fries.
They had no seasoning and were not fully cooked. I was able to eat 1/4 of them.
I enjoyed the diner vibe and it was nice to see all the old album covers hanging, brought back good memories.
The donut was very good.
I decided that I wanted a little more to eat so I got the steak and egg breakfast comes with home fries and toast The steak was good. I got a medium well was a little tougher than I wanted it to be the eggs were good also.
I got the patty melt. You know that mystery meat they served you in school? That’s what you get here. I could not stomach it so I got tomato grilled cheese instead and sent back the burger. I don’t know how but they messed that up too. See the photos.
And, finally, the waitress was really sweet and kind but I just could not understand her. I don’t think she speaks much English, poor thing.
I won’t be back. I wish them a better chef and higher quality inventory.
