I haven’t been to the Kirby Lane since I was younger. This place truly never disappoint!

Ambiance: The restaurant is pretty big, so there are plenty of different types of seating. I joined the waitlist prior to arriving and was seated fairly quickly. The service is great! Our server was very kind and efficient when checking up on us.

Breakfast platter: The pancakes are so fluffy and pair perfectly with the whipped butter and syrup. The eggs and sausage were also very good, and the portion size for this dish is great!

French toast: The brioche French toast was super buttery with a nice crisp on the outside. The bread is so fluffy, and it’s a very decadent dish.

Potatoes: The side potatoes have a slight Cajun seasoning. They are more of a soft potato than crispy but they were extremely tasty nonetheless.

Stopped by Kirby Lane Cafe and got the steak and eggs. The steak was cooked medium rare and super tender. The chimichurri sauce had the perfect amount of tang and added a lot of flavor without overpowering it. I got my eggs scrambled, and they were solid. It also came with toast and Brussel sprouts.
Good service overall, and for the price you’re getting a solid amount of food (about 55g of protein), so it felt worth it. I’d definitely order it again.

Surprisingly great, though a little pricey.

I had some time to burn this morning while my wife was in surgery and figured I would take my kids to a real breakfast place. I had wanted to come here for a while as it seems to be popular in Austin so I gave this place a shot.

The facility is clean and orderly and I found the service to be excellent. Surprisingly, even the tap water they serve seems to be filtered instead of the normal tap water you get most other places.

Pricing wise though it’s not cheap. I paid almost seventeen dollars for my meal (not counting drinks) and my kids got two pancakes each at ten bucks a pop. That said, the quality of the presentation and taste was quite good. The menu too is quite large, a bit too large for me as it’s hard to make up your mind, but still, it’s neat to have so many options at a breakfast place.

If you’re looking for a nice breakfast restaurant and don’t mind paying a little extra, this place is a great choice.

Yum, on a Thursday evening close to Christmas 2025!
Seated right away…Business was very steady but not a mob scene.
My breakfast food came out quickly and was really fresh and delish; family’s order looked great and they ate it all.
Really good, fresh coffee.

FANTASTIC service from Joshua B.; kept coffee cups full and brought us all water, etc.

Prices are high but that is THE NORM right now, so caveat emptor, as you know…look at the menu online. Three people at about $72 including 20% pre-tax tip (no need to tip on taxes). We had no apps or dessert or fancy coffees. Eating out is a major SPECIAL TREAT more than ever.

After a busy morning shopping the entire Ikea floor (twice!) It was time to introduce my 95 year old mother to Kerby Lane. I have been a number of times and love their lemon French toast. Today i enjoyed the California omelet while mom had the Denver omelet with the candied bacon. Scrumptious!. Tristen our server was very attentive and friendly without feeling like she was interrupting. Highly recommend for anyone who likes fresh foods, great service and wonderful flavors.

Kerbey Lane in Round Rock is seriously top tier when it comes to breakfast — like, the kind of place where every single thing that hits the table tastes like it was made with extra love. We started with chips and queso (because that’s basically the law in Texas), and it was the perfect opener: warm, creamy, and full of flavor.

For the main breakfast spread, we ordered a sausage and egg taco with a side of salsa, plus an eggs Benedict, and every single bite was delicious. The taco had that perfect balance of hearty and fresh, and the eggs Benedict was rich, buttery, and so satisfying.

And then the hot cocoa? Oh. My. Gosh. It was silky, rich, and topped with the perfect swirl of whipped cream and the cutest little chocolate shavings. It honestly felt like a dessert and a warm hug in a mug all at once.

The service made the experience even better. We had a gentleman serving us who was respectful, quick, and kind every time he came to the table. You could tell he cared about making sure we enjoyed our visit.

If you’re anywhere near Round Rock and craving a breakfast that truly hits the spot, Kerbey Lane is absolutely the place to go.

First time at this location, the hostess with the short bob and bangs was very warm and friendly, she told us all about the new seasonal featured items. Our server was a curly dark haired gentleman Isaac, he was also exceptional. 10/10 service and food. I recommend the chicken and pancakes and the peppermint latte.

We have had many items on the menu it’s good but some items not so good. I had let the waitress know for example biscuit and gravy entree was bland dry and didn’t taste good. I asked if the recipe had changed she said no and didn’t do anything to try and make it right. She was busier chatting with staff and we kept having to flag her down for food and drink orders. She only asked how things were once didn’t offer refills and didn’t care to check in. That’s the only no for me and my family. However, minus that one waitress won’t mention by name maybe she was having an off day. Only other item not a fan was the pulled pork sandwhich flavor not bad but the batch I had super dry.

On the good – All of our waiters and waitresses always friendly and kind. Food general is yummy and drinks non alcoholic and alcoholic. Queso is the best! Still worth a try. Menu was recently updated. Our favorites are the lemon poppy pancakes, deviled eggs, salmon, truffle fries, breakfast tacos, beef is delicious. Worth a try. We love also our Kerbey lane Tshirts!

We came in today and had a server named Michelle. First time eating here and I was craving tacos. I loved she recommended the taco plate. they were delicious on the corn tortilla and filled me up. The pancake that my daughter had on the kids menu was pretty good as well. We really enjoyed breakfast. I’m coming back next time.

Food was OK (breakfast) not worse or better than any other restraunt. The greeter/hostess was nice but was goofing off and took a while to acknowledge us. Waitress was nice but slow and didnt check on us we had to flag her down. Average service and food.
