The food and service was absolutely amazing. We came here three years ago for my parters birthday and he has been wanting to come back ever since. Today our servers were Areli, and Mario from the moment they greeted us to the very end we felt taken care of. The timing of each course was perfect, and they guided us with excellent recommendations on the menu. The food had exquisite flavors and textures. We will be back again, hopefully in less than three years.

Drove an hour to playa del Carmen from tulum and came here to eat because we were craving Italian food. Kevin and Javier gave us the best experience. Food was great . Service was amazing. 1- food was great, tasty. We ordered lasagna, artichoke and fried sea food mix. All were yummy and enjoyable.
2- waiters are kind and helpful. But as soon as a plate or a cup is empty on your table, they come and take it. I get it but we were interrupted too many times for this reason.
They obviously wanted you to finish asap so they can get more customers.
3- service speed is crazy. All of our orders arrived in less then ten minutes.
4- I was planning to rate this place 5* but their süper overpriced and terrible 24k tiramisu was a disappointment.
Then came the bill!
There was already %15 service charge added to our bill. Which is totally fine for a place like that.
BUT the waiter said it’s the service charge for the restaurant and doesn’t include the waiter. HOW THE HECK I CAN KNOW THIS ?
it doesn’t say it on the bill or on the menu.
So we had to tip the waiter separately and at the end of the day, you’re tipping this place around %30!!!!
LOOK AT THE BILL I POSTED!
it says service charge not included! It our waiter, Santiago, said it’s 15% on top of our bill and I need to pay the amount below(2900$)
This part got me so pissed of. I’m happy to over tip my waiter but this was not clearly explained or mentioned on the bill/menu.

This was the BEST spot for my sister’s bachelorette dinner! Our waiters Arlete & Javier brought us everything we needed and more. The food was excellent as was the presentation. They made the Alfredo in a wheel or Parmesan right next to our table. The music was quite loud at first but we asked if they’d be able to turn it down and they were happy to do so. Definitely a good place if you’re looking for a special evening.

I’ll admit I was sceptical at first. How could an Italian restaurant in Playa possibly compare to Sardinia, Rome, or even the Vatican? I can honestly say I have never been happier to be wrong.
If you come to Playa and don’t eat here, you really need to rethink your life choices. I told my partner there was no way this place could live up to our recent trip to Europe, and somehow it completely exceeded it.
I may not have many reviews on my profile, but I don’t say this lightly. This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had, anywhere.
The tuna carpaccio was the best I have ever tasted. The cacio e pepe was second only to Rome itself. The burrata and the branzino were both flawless and clearly made with care and respect for the cuisine.
The service made the experience even more special. Litzi and Kevin were outstanding. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate, the kind of service that makes you feel truly taken care of. It is rare and it matters.
This food, this service, this experience meant so much to us. Thank you for creating something truly special.

My second time dining here. First time was back in February 2024 and then returned a few days ago with a friend while vacationing back in PDC. Just like the first time, the food & service did not disappoint. Both were outstanding. Delicious, fresh pasta. Exceptional service. Can’t wait to return on my next visit to PDC.

This establishment certainly exceeded expectations. The decor is visually appealing, and the service is truly exceptional; I have rarely encountered a restaurant where the staff is so attentive to the patrons’ requirements. Furthermore, they appear to take great pride in maintaining a tidy environment, as demonstrated by their prompt folding of napkins when a member of our party briefly stepped outside. They also thoughtfully adjusted the fan to prevent our food from cooling while we were away. Additionally, the provision of mouthwash in the restrooms was a unique touch. I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Convenient location if you’re around 5th Ave. Staff is friendly and there was always someone around. It’s a place where you want to relax and take your time, service isn’t in a hurry. The Minestrone was good and I enjoyed the presentation. My gnocchi was much firmer than what I’m used to, al dente on the higher end. The bread that’s served is worth the wait and the pesto sauce it lovely. Overall, it was ok, considering the price for the meal.

Had the fettuccine alfredo and it was great. Very impressed with the service and atmosphere as the fettuccine was tossed in a half-wheel of cheese right next to the table. I highly recommend the added pancetta. Mario and Oscar were absolutely awesome!
