This was our first time trying Costa Rican food, and it did not disappoint! The waitresses were incredibly friendly, attentive, and informative. They offered great recommendations to help us experience the most authentic dishes—and everything was absolutely delicious!
We started with chips and guacamole—the chips were homemade, and the guac was fresh and flavorful. For our main dishes, my husband had the Arroz con Pollo, and I ordered the Carne en Salsa. Both meals were bursting with flavor, made with fresh ingredients, and had that comforting, home-cooked feel.
Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were a solid 10/10. If we ever find ourselves back in Bonita Springs, we’d return in a heartbeat!

The food is absolutely delicious. Everything is made fresh. Had the guac n chips (chips were fresh and hot) and the tostadas are so yummy. Had one chicken and one beef w pico and sour cream on the side. Went all the way with the Tres Leches cake. All around yummy and fresh and owner comes to your table and takes great care of every customer. Just a GEM in Bonita Springs

Second time here and it was just as good (if not better) than the first time. The food is tasty and has an authentic flavor to it. Pictured is the carne en salsa and it was delicious! The service is always genuine and very friendly. The place itself is clean and well-decorated with Costa Rican influence.

What a hidden gem! Delicious food! Fresh, authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was excellent with a relaxed beautiful setting. We will be going back and recommend you do too! PS: Deserts are 10 out of 10 we tried a couple while there.

My Wife and I went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon over ten years ago and this is the only place that has food that truly reminds us of the food in Costa Rica. The food is great and the family is very kind and provides great service. We live out of state but always make time to come here when we visit. Highly recommend the Lapa!

We tried happy hour dining and wine today and were very happy. Nachos were really delicious with warm fresh chips and tasty guacamole. Service is pleasant and they genuinely care for their customers!! We will bring others to enjoy their fresh food.

Great little place for a delightful Spanish meal. I had the Chifrijo appetizer as my main course. The rice, black beans, chimichurri with shredded chicken and sliced avocado on top, was delicious! The empanadas were great, we got to try beef, chicken and cheese. My husband had the arroz con pollo and it was very good. Our favorite part of the meal were the amazing churros!!! I would love to go back tomorrow morning just to have them with coffee.
