They’re social media is engaging and informative which is especially important for their seasonal flavors/food drops.
The baked goods and food are lovely. I’m obsessed with the muffins. I had no idea a gluten free muffin could be SO moist and delicious.
I could keep typing, but it’s best if you go give them a try yourself. ☺️
The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting — it’s the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or just enjoy some quiet time with a great cup of coffee. I love trying all the seasonal coffee options; they never miss!
I don’t usually get food since I like to sip my coffee before I eat, but I’ve tried all of their avocado toast options — each one is great. My personal favorite is the avocado toast with egg and Sriracha.
If you haven’t been here yet, you’re seriously missing out!
I waited about 15 to 20 minutes or more for my food. My coffee was made first and left sitting on the counter the entire time, so it was cold by the time I left. I ordered a turkey panini and a waffle with bacon. The bacon came out about 10 to 15 minutes before the rest of the food and was already cold.
About 5 to 7 minutes after I arrived, a young lady’s dad came in, and he received all his food and drinks before me, even though I had been waiting first. They even forgot my waffle because the young lady ended up making his order before finishing mine.
I live right across the street, so I know their waffles are usually much better. This one was small and overcooked, and the panini was cold and soggy from sitting so long. Spending around $41–$42 with a tip for a cold coffee, a cold and soggy sandwich, and a half-done waffle is unacceptable.
Timing is everything when dealing with food. I would not suggest making the item that takes the least amount of time first. When my friends came into town last week, I sent them there every day and they spent money—but after this experience, I will not be sending anyone back there.
What made it worse is that they clearly knew the waffle wasn’t right and still handed it to me. Better attention to orders and consistency with customers would go a long way. If management reviews the cameras, they’ll see exactly how long I was waiting. Not okay for the price or the experience.
If the young lady wasn’t busy taking my order and making all my food by herself, and if her coworker had helped her instead of making her dad’s food first, my food wouldn’t have been cold. That one girl can do everything by herself—but no one should have to. Everything went in the trash except the bacon and the coffee that I had to then microwave…just sad
The people who work there are always so kind and the service is amazing every time. Plus, the hot chocolate and food are top tier! ☕✨
Cannon Coffee isn’t just a coffee shop — it’s part of our community, and we’re so lucky to have it right here in downtown Hagerstown. KD
