This place is amazing! We pulled up and thought it was just a grocery store. Turns out it’s an amazing bar, great food, and awesome staff! Ryan, Hassan, Mary, Thomas, and Jae were all great! The fresh “Chef’s Poke Creation” is to die for, as are the drinks.

Great food, drinks, and prices. Came on Tuesday for the $6 margs. The food took about 15-20 minutes to come out and the drinks were good. Friendly server but took me a while to get my second drink. In fairness, it was extra busy that night. The food was tasty, felt like I got my money’s worth. A grocery store bar is a foreign concept to me but the execution is there, I’ll definitely come back.

Pau Hana Bar is exactly what it is. A bar perfectly placed in the middle of Foodland to enjoy delicious plates and drinks before, after, or during work.
There are not a lot of grocery stores that have bars in them and it’s kind of a fun experience to be eating and drinking when there are people shopping for groceries all around you. The staff is fantastic and very helpful at helping selecting dishes and drinks. Since the food is prepared in a grocery store, everything seems to be fresh and a very farm to table experience.
The bathroom situation could be improved. It’s over in the frozen section along the wall. You have to go through the swinging double doors (as if you were going into the back area of the grocery store) and down the hall. They are not the cleanest but they’ll do.

Found this place by accident! Bar in the middle of Foodland. You can get poke and stop in for a few drinks. We are here at least once a month and take everyone who comes visit here. Great atmosphere and customer service. The food is outstanding too.. ask for Mary she’s the best! Only thing the sucks is the bathroom is so far away..

Before I start this review I just want to say that if I could give Jay 10 stars for service I would. Great guy, super attentive, and just elevated the entire experience.
Stopped in here for our last meal before leaving Hawaii and Pau Hana didn’t disappoint. Fried chicken skin, poke, fried pork chop, burgers, all of which was amazing.
Lucky we saved room because the bread pudding was probably one of the best things I ate during the week on the island.
5 out of 5 but an easy 10 out of 10. Thank you!

This place was awesome! I had some killer spicy mango and jalapeno margaritas and a couple steak tacos during happy hour. The bartenders were all great! This was my first time at a supermarket bar.

Resto-bar in the middle of a grocery store – reminds me of places in Europe and Asia I’ve travelled. Service was excellent, bartender was super friendly and attentive and drinks were great, but food was average at best. Calamari karaage was ok but very greasy/oily; we were some of the first to order at lunchtime and I suspect their fryer wasn’t up to temp but they tried to cook it anyways. We split the burger which came with great fries (fryer now up to temp?) and the burger was fine, but just kinda plain and underwhelming. Overall great experience because of the bartender and would give it another chance as some of the other food coming out looked really good – maybe we picked poorly?

Wow I’ve lived in this area for more than a year and I’m just now trying this bar! The restaurant and bar is located in Foodland Farms Pearl City. The bartender was so kind. He squeezed us in at the bar in a Saturday night without a reservation.
It was one of our first date nights out in a while away from the baby so we were be try grateful. Can’t wait to come back for this edamame and calamari!!

I’ve been shopping at this Foodland Farms since it opened and finally had a chance to stop by for dinner and drinks
Bartender was a true gentleman… he had put too much Martini in his mixer, so told my wife to sip from her glass, so he could top her up. Food was delicious. Ordered an appetizer each and it was plenty.
