What a neat find, a locally owned restaurant. This place has a modern dining room and in the back a full bar area with tables. The back area allows smoking inside. The front area doesn’t. The food was delicious and the staff were awesome. The restroom could use a remodel. Plenty of parking and easy accessibility.

Delicious food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. Sit in the front section if you don’t smoke, sit in the back bar area if you do. Plenty of parking. Nice menu! Very accessible.

Positives- 1 of the best restaurant burgers I have ever had! (Oak Burger) it was cooked perfectly and I could tell it was made from fresh ingredients. Homemade chips also were great. It was pricey but worth it. Service was outstanding, friendly and attentive. Plenty of easy parking too.
Negative- We sat in front non-smoking section but could still smell the smoke.

I started working about 5 miles away from Lone Oak Tavern. I’ve been getting take out from here like once a week. They have been Great every time!
I will continue to get food from here on days I’m hungry.

The bar area is smoking which I didn’t know those places existed still. I think that is only at the bar. There is a separated dinning area.

Burgers are good, and the service is quick and friendly. Outside patio is nice and is the only option if you don’t want to inhale second-hand smoke. There is a non-smoking section inside, but it is still smokey.

It was alright for what it was if you sit in the non smoking/non bar area, they dont really take care of you, got a twice baked potato completely hard couldn’t even bit into it. We checked out the bar side all we got was a bunch of bikers staring at us like we weren’t suppose to be there. The redeeming factor was the sandwiches. Good for a one and done. Definitely should maybe find a different door for the connecting doors so the non smokers dont lose their minds.

If you prefer Mom-and-Pop over chains, this might be your spot. Pub fare, well executed. Leans carnivore. Popular with locals, bikers.

Best burger in Northern Virginia can be found at this rural Tavern. Seriously! Plenty of outdoor seating, indoor seating is a split between smoking area at the bar and non-smoking in the front. The waitresses are hard-working, kind, personable and courteous.

First visit to the Lone Oak Tavern. Upon entry we were warmly greeted and told to select our own seating. I was surprised to learn that the restaurant has a separate smoking section; although located at the back of the house, the strong smell of cigarette smoke permeated throughout the restaurant. (Note: Anyone with a strong aversion or allergy to cigarette smoke might do well to order take out instead of eating in).

Our server, Kaitlyn, was extremely friendly and attentive. She offered good recommendations and insights about the menu. We ordered mozzarella sticks, a cheeseburger with fries, and a grilled Reuben with onion rings. Everything was fresh and delicious! Entrees were reasonably priced at approximately $12.50 each, although the price for mozzarella sticks was a bit high at $9.50 for 5-6 sticks.

In all, we enjoyed our visit and will be back!
