We had such a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfectly planned. We made a reservation and were seated right on time, which immediately set a great tone for the evening.

We were seated outside, and the weather couldn’t have been more beautiful. The view was absolutely amazing, we had a clear view of the entire sunset, and it made the whole dinner feel extra special and romantic.

Our waitress was fantastic: nice, attentive, and very professional. She checked on us consistently without being intrusive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. In fact, the entire staff was kind and always welcoming us with a smile, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable.

For our appetizer, we ordered the sushi crab bake, and it was a delicious start, flavorful and perfectly prepared. For our main courses, we had the Chilean Salmon and the American Wagyu short rib. Both dishes were outstanding. The salmon was cooked beautifully, tender and rich, while the Wagyu short rib was incredibly flavorful and melted in our mouths.

The prices are a little on the higher side, but considering the quality of the food, the service, the warm hospitality, and especially the breathtaking sunset view, it was absolutely worth it. We would definitely come back for another special evening!

This place is fantastic. It’s sophisticated, elevated, and yet it still felt approachable and welcoming. Our server, Nikki, was super attentive, personable, and funny. All of her suggestions and menu favorites were incredible. Tuna poke nachos, wagyu carpaccio, short rib steam buns, and rock shrimp. The nachos were the best, believe it or not.

This was also the top 3 best old fashioned drinks I’ve ever had, smoked tableside too. Don’t sleep on their specialty sushi creations either. If I’m ever back in Charlotte, I will return.

Great restaurant with an A1 atmosphere! Maria and Mason went above and beyond! I love the outside setting/city skyline view.
For food, we went with the Togarashi herb porkchop, 10oz Ny Strip, and the dynamite rock shrimp as the appetizer. We paired this with a bottle of wine accompanied by a bottle of sparkling water. It was my lady’s birthday, so we had a little dessert too. Enjoyed every second of our time spent here and the dishes perform magic being they spoke for themselves! We will definitely be back thanks to the great service from our waiter Mason backed up by Maria.

The only minor hiccup I’d point out is the parking. There is a small street you turn onto to get to valet (recommended); “BEWARE”if you drive too fast, you’ll pass it up. The hotel and restaurant share the valet parking space.

“EXTRAORDINARILY SATISFYING!”
On Saturday, February 14, 2026, I dined at Fahrenheit Restaurant, and extremely upscale restaurant in Charlotte, NC, with a guest. (Fahrenheit is actually located on the 21st floor of Hyatt Place (a.k.a.: the Skye Building).)

I was very, VERY impressed with the restaurant. It’s decor, the atmosphere, the views, the music, and of course, the food were great. Also, our waitress was very good, knowledgeable, and attentive.

For drinks, we decided to try the:
● Uptown Pear
● Honey Crisp Crush
● Water

As an appetizer, we choose

● Edamame

For my entrée, I choose the
● Slow Braised American Waygu Short Ribs,

… and my guest selected the
● Baked Chilean Sea Bass

Finally, for dessert, we choose the

● Expresso Cheesecake

Everything about our visit was top notch, but of particular note was my entrée. I was EXTREMELY pleased with my choice of entrée. The short ribs were expertly prepared, so very, VERY tender, and “melt-in-your-mouth” delicious! They were expertly paired with lo mein noodles in a light, wonderfully seasoned sauce.

All in all, it was an extraordinarily satisfying culinary experience. So, compliments to the chef, our waitress, and ENTIRE team at Fahrenheit Restaurant in Charlotte, NC, for an INDESCRIBABLY AWESOME dining experience.

Bravo!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fahrenheit restaurant following the NFL playoff game in Charlotte. This establishment, located on the rooftop of a hotel, offers a distinctive ambiance that is both elegant and welcoming. Upon entry, the signage reflects its upscale nature; however, post-game, the atmosphere relaxed, allowing patrons who presented themselves well to enjoy the experience.

Our server, Noah F., was exceptional. He was not only attentive but also candid about the menu offerings, recommending dishes that were both popular and ones to consider approaching with caution. His service was prompt and professional, enhancing our dining experience significantly.

I opted for the Waygnu short rib, which was expertly prepared—tender and flavorful. We also enjoyed an exquisite Japanese bread accompanied by mitsu butter, which was a delightful complimentary treat. The dynamite shrimp we ordered was another highlight, though I must admit that my appetite was piqued after a long day of events.

The views from the rooftop are spectacular, showcasing the Charlotte skyline beautifully. The ambiance was particularly enjoyable in the cool evening air, especially when seated near the fire on the balcony. The bar area is beautifully designed, contributing to the overall aesthetic of the restaurant.

While I noticed some comments regarding service and food quality, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. It is important to note that Fahrenheit is on the pricier side, but given the quality and experience provided, it is certainly worth the investment. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Charlotte.

We visited Fahrenheit for our first dinner in Charlotte. Our server, Kevin, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, though his newness showed (it was only his fourth day), with a few minor service hiccups like dropped items and a mistaken dessert order. He has great potential and will undoubtedly become an excellent server with more experience.

The food, however, was absolutely phenomenal. It’s a fantastic spot for small plates and sushi. We sampled an array of dishes: the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, Ahi Poke Nachos, and Lobster Dumplings to start. For sushi, we loved the CEO Roll, Gold Standard, and Queen City Sunset. Our main course, the Pancetta Spring Pea Fettuccine, was also outstanding. A memorable culinary introduction to the city.

This is the second time going to this place and both times we are celebrating our anniversary.
We always splurge on ourselves because this is the only day we allow it.
The food was amazing, from starters to dessert, I ordered salmon(entree) this time and it really was crispy and delish, same to my husbands plate, he had the pork chop over mashed potatoes.
Our server was also very helpful with us choosing our champagne bottle, I ended up with wine since I wanted something really on the sweet end.
If you are celebrating something or even just a date, I recommend this place.
I saw they even have stuff for girls night and valentine’s day.
Guys I forgot this, no matter where you are you still have a glimpse of all the Charlotte buildings which is a good feeling.
There’s that bun they served us with honey, ooh God, it was chefs kiss!! The bun I think had everything bagel seasoning on top and tge sesame seeds were doing great things for tge taste. Ooh I loved the night…

I was visiting Charlotte from DC and had heard great things about Farenheit, so I made a 9:15 PM reservation through OpenTable expecting a smooth and enjoyable evening. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations.

We arrived on time for our reservation, yet we were not seated until 9:55 PM — a full 40 minutes late. No meaningful explanation, no accommodation, just a long wait despite having a confirmed reservation.

When we were finally seated, we were placed outside in extremely cold weather and told that was “all they had available.” After waiting that long, being seated outdoors in uncomfortable conditions was disappointing, especially given the price point of this establishment.

The service from our server was actually good — she was attentive and professional — but that was the only positive part of the evening.

For two people, with just two drinks total and dinner, the tab exceeded $200. At that price, you expect a premium experience — proper seating, smooth reservation handling, and overall hospitality. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

Coming from DC (and having spent years in KC as well), rooftop bars overlooking downtown are nothing new. There are plenty that execute the concept far better — with better service management and guest experience.

Overall, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re new to the rooftop bar scene and simply impressed by a skyline view.

Very underwhelming for the price.

Located on the 21st floor of the Hyatt Place hotel has a nice ambiance of the city’s view. Appetizers were hit or miss. The meat balls needed seasoning, the Dynamite Shrimp were awesome. The Surf n Turf was a hit. The pork chops’ sauce was too spicy and should have indicated that I the description. But the chops were tender. The cheese cake was light and flavored well. The service was superb!

My partner and I came here for Valentine’s Day and the waitress was amazing. They were extremely busy but Sunshine ensured us that we would have an amazing night and she delivered on her promise! Thank you Sunshine! The food was great as well! My partner ordered the Japanese wagyu steak and I ordered the 12oz NY strip; both were amazing! We both ordered the strawberry crème brûlée for desert, which was delicious as well!
