Nha Trang Restaurant delivers a dependable Vietnamese dining experience with a focus on fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. The service is prompt and polite, and the wait time is minimal even during busy hours. The ambiance is relaxed, with moderate noise levels that still allow for conversation. It’s well-suited for small to medium-sized groups, and the menu caters to both traditional and vegetarian preferences.
While the restaurant doesn’t go out of its way to highlight dietary accommodations, staff are generally responsive to questions and requests. The parking situation is manageable, and the space is family-friendly without being chaotic. Accessibility is decent, though restroom access could be improved for wheelchair users. Overall, it’s a reliable spot for casual dining with a few thoughtful touches.

A good restaurant that may be a little old, but still offers many tasty dishes and fast service. Takeout and to-go orders have become more popular in recent years, and with occasional discounts, the prices are very reasonable.

Definitely a good place for families and friends. Every meal is well seasoned and has a perfect temperature. I think the portion is also reasonable when compared to the price. It truly gave us a vibe of some restaurants in Vietnam in some famous tourism destination for long long time ago.
I read some comments about bad behavior of the servers in here and let me tell you…. it’s just some of the joke from uncle, Lol. If you don’t get it I think you will be offended but chill, they didn’t mean it.
Highly recommended, come here and enjoy the tast of Vietnamese cuisine.

We tried an old school Vietnamese restaurant in Lion Plaza. We ordered stir fry rau mon with beef, nem nuong wrap, cha gio, catfish and pork belly in a carmelized sauce. The food was very tasty and the servings were generous. The rau mon was a particular favorite, my husband said it tasted better than his mom’s. They gave a nice jelly dessert. Service was nice and a great attention to detail for authentic Vietnamese food. We had plenty leftover food for dinner.

The vietnamese food here was pretty good. Tried a wide variety, but went with friends so I am not sure the names of all the dishes. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. The chicken and egg rolls were my favorite. The chicken skin was probably some of the best I have had in a long time.. Nothing I really disliked there. The pickled radishes are always a personal favorite of mine. The fish soup was good and came with quite a lot of fish. I liked that they served orange slices at the end of the meal, I wish more places did something like this, seems a good way to end a meal.

We were craving for family style meals that included the sweet and sour tamarind catfish soup and braised catfish in a clay pot. My friend who’s a local, recommended this place.
We got:
-sweet and sour tamarind catfish soup
-braised cat fish clay pot
-salt and pepper wings
-shaken beef w pasta
-pork spring rolls
All dishes tasted fantastic. Everything was so tasty. Reminds me of home. The pork spring rolls were huge! Each roll came with its own sauce. The locals compare the sauce equivalent to Brodard put I disagree.
We were the first table to get seated when they opened at 5. When we left at 7:30, every single table was occupied including the tables outdoor. Definitely a staple restaurant that the locals go to.
In the end, they gave us complimentary dessert. The dessert was herbal jelly with chia seeds.

I had a bowl of absolutely delicious egg noodle with the works. My wife had a bowl of Bun Bo Hue. The menu was deliciously extensive. The atmosphere was very warm, friendly, and attentive. There were surprised complimentary drinks and desserts. Overall, it was a delicious and pleasant brunch experience.

The best Vietnamese seafood and roll place around. All the seafood is fresh and comes with wonderful herbs.
My favorite is always bun rieu.
clams with punchy lemongrass and the chicken salad is a close second. The chicken salad came with so much chicken it was ridiculous! Cha gio came out fresh really really hot and took around 10mins for it to crisp up. Bun rieu was very solid, but the huyet wasn’t the best.
Nam neung or snail weren’t anything special but will satisfy a craving.
This place has gotten much cleaner than a few years ago, although I still wouldn’t call it clean.

If I go alone I would have left already only stay is because we came in with a party of more than 14 people. Customer service is extremely bad. Waited more than an hour to be able to order any thing. Called the only male waiter in the restaurant multiple time and he keep saying I’m coming but in the end not coming. Called the other waitress multiple time also but keeps getting ignore in the end. Had to physically come to the freaking Cashier to call them to come to get order. When she arrived to take the order, her face and tone when taking our order was like …… extremely impolite tone and expression. Another experience is with the take out. Already called in advance 45 minutes before arrive to pick up a single hot pot ( the female already confirmed) When arrived they said nothing and have to wait half an hour until I can pick up the hot pot.

My vietnamese isn’t as good as it should be. But you know what? We managed to get through the language barriers, and fill out stomachs with some pretty decent foods. Not being familiar with what the area of Nha Trang (芽莊) is known for, I just settle for the things I could pronounce. Went with the Cơm Bì Sườn Nướng (The Porkchop with the shredded pork skins over rice). The porkchops were charred well on the outside, so it wasn’t bad. A little overdone on the inside for my personal taste, but still not bad.
Language barriers aside though, they can be a bit too busy to attend to you immediately, and the staff can get tired. So just be aware.
