Pizza tasted like crap. Paid 3.30 each for toppings and extra sauce to receive some cheese dough cause that exactly what it tasted like. 10 inch pizza that was 3 topping only had like 10 pieces on it. They figured since you order deep dish you won’t realize that you really not getting what you paid for because it’s hiding under the cheese and let’s talk about the amount of sauce its really like enough to cover the cheese. Never again would I order from their. Papa dels is the best choice trust me.

Update 2/26/25: I went to get a Philly cheese sandwich and it was disgusting. It was greasy and had so much cheese the texture was off. It even has hair in it. I really wish I could get it remade, a free meal or a refund of some type.

This establishment is very clean, especially when you account for all the foot traffic that comes through their doors. The floors, tables, and bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is city-like; which explains why Rosati’s originated in Chicago. As far as the thin-crust, large pizza-pie I ordered, it was absolutely delicious. The wait for the pie was approximately 23 minutes from the order time to our table. This isn’t bad at all considering it is made to order and they don’t utilize a “flash cook” oven like many pizza restaurants incorporate.

I grew up in Chicago. This is what Chicago thin crust pizza tastes like! I don’t know how a big chain restaurant is able to duplicate the kind of pizza the mom and pop place on the corner use to make, but they did it!

I can’t rate the food because I didn’t leave with any. Whatever female is working the counter today (01/14/26) needs to be let go! I placed an online to-go order for pick up and walked in to get it. She confused me with a phone order and became very frustrated with whoever she thought I was (still inappropriate behavior)and started being overly rude with loud voice, explicit vocabulary and speaking directly to me while helping another customer. It just so happened the customer ahead me was my son – completely different order and arrival time. (We have a construction company and were there for lunch.) She started going off, calling me inappropriate names and when we tried to advise her I wasn’t that customer she went further like we were lying. She continued to drop explicitives towards myself and son. When my son tried to defend me and the situation for her inappropriate actions she tried to ban us from the restaurant and refused to finish our orders. I asked for a manager because we are typically regulars and she complained they weren’t there, and she was the one in charge so “she banned us”. Our whole crew was there so it took alot of calming down to leave quietly. When we went to leave and have our money returned because we refused the food after her behavior she continued her rant on the customers in line and was throwing a fit demanding “either place your order or leave”, with explicitives, so customers in-line were leaving behind us. She seemed intoxicated and shouldn’t be there period. A complaint has been filed with their corporate as well.

We’ve been a few times, once for my bday bc I love deep dish pizza, and once to try it again. The pizza is very tasty, and cheesy. The regular thin style pizza was also very good. The second time we went I got some of the jumbo slices and my kid got some pasta. She loved the pasta though it’s truly not anything to rave about, and the jumbo slices are as you’d expect ready to eat pizza to be: tasty enough, but not oven fresh. Which is fine but I won’t get it again; I’ll order fresh and wait instead.
