Went with my best friend and hubby tonight and this young lady was here had an attitude and a half when I was trying to ask a simple question. Our server was extremely sweet and nice though and other workers were scrambling behind her. I’ve run restaurants for 30 years in and out of the French quarter and this would never fly with me. Phones on the floor is very rude and unprofessional. She was on her phone for 45 minutes straight because she went from the wall to leaning over a counter where I only presume food is put. I skipped dessert because of seeing this. Not okay in the least.

The service here is 5 star, this location is by far the best around, everyone who works here deserves nothing but respect, you can taste the love they put into the food,service and atmosphere, all of the staff really care about there jobs and helping make the experience amazing every time for everyone, from the moment you are greeted at the register but the amazing souls cashing you out and getting your drinks, til you leave so full and very satisfied, and everyone in-between, that helps make this experience so amazing. My neighbor took me out to lunch after some playful home theater consulting and some errands. It was a super nice hang. Mostly older crowd, super diverse otherwise, very friendly vibe, some of the regulars and staff seemed to know each other. Delicious food across the spectrum of American cuisine, from burgers to meatloaf to grilled meats, various soups and salads and casseroles. We pigged out. I usually avoid alcohol and refined sugar but I indulged on the dessert section too. It was a special occasion. Cheesecake!

It’s been quite a while since I’ve eaten at a Golden Corral. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the entrées and sides. My server was also very adequate and made sure that I had everything I needed. we were going to leave and i was going to get her a cash tip, and she wants to whisper “Yall do realize i only make 2$ an hour and you didn’t even tip” rude as hell and completely different from her fake nice personality
… LADY MOVE that’s not how you do service and definitely not how you treat customers. Some rude old white lady pretending to be nice only for her tip. rude ash. and to make things worse it was on my bday. no type of negativity at all except for her . Thanks so much for making it a bad experience cuz you don’t enjoy you’re job.

I went on a Saturday around 1 pm. Long story short,when you don’t see kids eating this tells you everything you need to know especially desserts? Everything was dried out and not a pinch of salt on nothing! Whoever is over this place needs to be fired! The dessert’s didn’t even have sugar in the cakes, lord let’s not talk about the ice cream it looked like watery milk that the only thing I seen adults getting! I gave it two stars because the bathroom was clean and the steak was meh.

It was ok. Didn’t really like the fact people just let there kids run around fingering all the food. I know they have a sign that says please accompany your kid to the bar. There was kids that could barely see over the bar grabbing food with hands then putting it back.
