We went for breakfast and enjoyed a hearty meal in a funky atmosphere. The table tops have been decorated with “pour paint” and are bright and colorful. There’s a pinball room in the back with a good selection of games. I had Mediterranean Eggs Benedict and my husband tried the Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes with really good bacon . They were large servings and we ended up sharing half of each to try both which were delicious.. Friendly staff and a laid back atmosphere!!

Southern Shores Coffee is such a cute and cozy spot. We parked in the back, where the signage immediately caught our eye—charming and well-done. Walking in, we were greeted by a fun mix of old-school ping pong machines and a vintage pool table, which made the place feel really unique.

You pass through a casual sitting area that doubles as the Scallywags Pizza space before reaching the coffee and breakfast area. I ordered an iced chai latte, and honestly—it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The guy, possibly the owner, who made it was super friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly loved what he was doing.

The color scheme and decor were adorable—beachy, but not over the top. Just light, happy, and well put together. Everyone working there seemed in great spirits, and the overall vibe was warm and welcoming. Tons of yummy breakfast options, too.

We’ll definitely be back to spend more time! I hope they consider adding a vegan dish to the breakfast menu- like veggie hash browns, and one to the lunch- like a blackbean wrap.

I don’t enjoy putting meh reviews, but I have to say it like it is. This is the first time we tried this place. First off, the food was great. 5 stars for the taste of the food. No complaints. We were lucky and found parking right away on the street, but we must have just missed a large crowd, There were a bunch of tables not cleared off and sat like that for a while. I went to the buffet to see what was there and it was cleaned out. We decided not to get the buffet. Instead we ordered the Farmers Scramble with a side pancake and bacon and also a BLT with egg. We enjoyed the food very much. It took a little bit to be sat at a table, and there were empty tables here and there. Unfortunately, the table and chairs were both very sticky, and the hostess just wiped it off in front of us. My wife said the single bathroom was not clean. She was not impressed with the lack of bathroom maintenance. It doesn’t make us want to come back very soon. Lastly, I know they were slammed and down a waitress, but still…..we had to wait 20 minutes to get helped, probably 45 minutes to get food, another 15-20 minutes to get our check once we were done. Not ideal. So, if you want a pretty neat environment and tasty food, this is a good place to go. That’s our experience.

We had an excellent lunch at Southern Shores today. They roast their own coffee, so we of course ordered frappes and mochas with our food. The food – a wrap and a Reuben – were freshly made. The location is perfect for walking around Foley or picnicking at the park. Highly recommended!

We stopped in twice for breakfast, while vacationing in the area. Our meals were delicious, and freshly prepared. The iced coffee was delicious and the prices reasonable. Our server both mornings, was very pleasant and friendly.

3 egg omelette was only 2 at Best but was good. I didn’t even get an offer for a refill on my coffee. Had to wait for the waitress to return in her time to get butter. Waitress then required me to pay my check because she was leaving. That’s not my problem that she was leaving. I was not leaving until she required my check be paid. I will not return. Thank you overall was ok but some things ruin the whole experience.

I brought my son here for his birthday. All of the staff were SO NICE. Food was DELICIOUS, Olivia was the host, and ROXANNE was our server, they were the sweetest people, all the way down to the cook. The bartender made great mimosas. I highly recommend this place if you want great service, a clean and spacious restaurant to enjoy.

We got a Hwy 59 omelet..it was excellent, perfect blend of many different cheeses with a side potatoes and Avocado toast with over medium egg on top, it was also amazing. Perfect amount of tomato and seasoning..our waitress was very good! My only suggestion would be to have a local radio station playing and to have the windows clean more often for the beautiful view of the park.

This is by far one of my favorite recent finds in town. The vibe once you walk in is fun and very fitting to us name. The staff were friendly and knew their menu well. Especially for my indecisive self. The mocha frappe was delicious but their French toast and bacon was perfection. I look forward to returning with the family!

This place quietly opened recently and we stumbled upon it. I think it is a relocation. I have to say the experience was great. Lovely place with a lot to offer. Breakfast was fantastic. We don’t have to drive far to have a great breakfast now ! Great addition to downtown Foley. Wish them many many years of success. Friendly staff also.
