TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave’s Hot Chicken in Aventura is the go-to place when you’re in the mood for something spicy and satisfying. The chicken is super crispy on the outside and juicy inside, with heat levels that range from mild to extreme hot (Reaper), so there’s something for everyone. The sides, like the mac and cheese and fries are tasty and complete the meal. The atmosphere is upbeat and the service is quick, even when it gets busy. It’s a solid spot for a casual bite that really hits the spot.

First time trying Dave’s. Seems like a cool place. Mario assisted me and was very helpful with food choices. I ordered the honey bites and spicy tender hot level. Perfect combination. I added the dipping sauce to a side Mac and cheese. Delicious.
I do wish Dave’s had a chicken on a country style biscuit option.

Great experience! TK, Amanda and E made our time so great! Welcoming and very kind. They even had a cauliflower sandwich so if you are vegetarian you can enjoy. They messed up on one of the orders and so kindly made us the sandwich again and even offered us a milkshake while we waited for the new one. Again, great service people and food. If you like a good chicken sandwich this is the place to go

On a corner, hard to miss surrounded by parking spaces. Interior is like New Yawk City or parts of Wynwood. Skillfully applied to walls are murals and graffiti reinforcing their corporate message. Their interior design is more interesting than the food. Their interpretation of “fried chicken” is a slab of white meat coated with egg and flour, then rolled in some seasoned panko.
I prefer dark meat.
Their bun was unremarkable as was their white bread.
I prefer whole wheat.
Their “special sauce” and crispy pickle were welcome, adding flavor to that tender, juicy meat.
Fries were good.
Service was fine, no problem. Food took a while but came hot.
Now I get it.

Omg the chicken here is fire. They have many levels of spicy from not spicy to something I’m pretty sure can kill you lol.
The mild and medium are great and hot was a lil too much for me lol but so tasty! And the tenders are the most moist juicy chicken I’ve ever tried! 10 out of 10 recommend.
Plus the staff was nice and friendly ☺️

I had an incredible experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken in Aventura! The food was simply amazing – the chicken was juicy, perfectly crispy, and the special sauce took it to the next level. Not to mention, the super crispy dill pickles added the perfect crunch and flavor to every bite. The service was fast and extremely courteous, and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The place was spotless, and the decor created a fun, lively atmosphere. If you’re looking for delicious food and top-notch service, Dave’s Hot Chicken is the spot! I’ll definitely be back soon!

I ordered the sandwich medium spicy with cheese and fries. The chicken is spicy even on a medium but it’s a thick piece of chicken breaded really well and fried to perfection.
It’s super juicy and the potato bread complements the chicken. It comes standard with coleslaw and their famous sauce which is like a Big Mac sauce. The French fries are like those old school crinkle fries with a Cajun sauce, really good. The best part is the price you get two sandwiches and fries for like $16. That’s more than enough for two people to share the fries.
The only thing it doesn’t come with is a drink. The atmosphere is really laid back with graffiti, and just kind of a cool fun environment. If you like fried chicken I highly recommend coming here, cheap, great food, and quick 5 stars!

I’m obsessed with Dave’s Hot Chicken in Aventura! The chicken is incredibly good – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavor. The seasoning is spot on, with just the right amount of heat. I’ve tried several different levels of spiciness, and each one is delicious in its own way. The service is also top-notch, with friendly staff and quick turnaround times. But what really impressed me was the location itself – the site is beautifully designed and immaculately clean. You can tell they take pride in their restaurant. If you’re a chicken lover like me, you need to get to Dave’s ASAP. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
