Ate here last weekend as part of party of 12 I think it was. The service was good as well as the food; the beef off the bone was unexpected but tasty as well as the soup. The pork belly I think it was, was little hard to chew but nothing that would minus any stars. Only real two con is due to location of the multi businesses, parking lot can be bit different to find a spot.

Took my sister in law and my daughter to eat for lunch at the Ashlan location. I purchased the pork belly and sticky rice, my daughter had orange chicken with fried rice, and my poor sil got Kapiak with a roach “inside.” She was almost done eating when she mistaken the roach for fried garlic and almost ate it!! She ran to the restroom and threw up her whole lunch.
We got a refund for the kapiak, but it will be our last time there at that location.

My friend and I went to La Kitchen today on Ashlan for the first time and ordered the fried chicken with white rice and a cucumber salad they both were horrible. The cucumber salad tasted like rancid fish, and the fried chicken tasted old. It tasted nothing like the original LA kitchen on kings canyon , I will never go there again. I threw away both entrées plus when I went in they already had 10 chickens with rice in a warmer as she took mine out and had it sitting there for eight minutes before my cucumber salad came out, which tasted like absolute garbage.
Sorry I couldn’t take pictures. I couldn’t even have it in my house the cucumber salad stunk like fish and was drowning in fish sauce which smelt horrible. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. I would stick to the original LA kitchen on Kings Canyon.

I ordered Phad Thai, Mango with Jeow(I was excited because it was the liquid Jeow, not the dry usual one that is sold everywhere, it’s something than different and reminds me of home), the chicken In the Phad thai is fried to perfection, it’s so delicious and the Coco Cane juice tastes like the coconut juice in a real coconut shell. Delicioussss! I also love that the have different varieties of their spring rolls. Like for example they have 2 in each pack, it can either be one with the pork and the other shrimp or 2 pork and 2 shrimp. I’m allergic to shrimp but the rest of my little family isn’t so I love that it has that option. You don’t really get that anywhere. The reason I gave 4 stars is because it’s a bit pricey but then again it’s kind of the usual prices.

Their food is delicious. Great unique flavor slightly different from some other southeast Asian places that can all taste the same.
Their Crispy Pork Belly, Chicken and sticky rice are a home-run.

In a single visit to LA Kitchen, you’re transported to a world of unparalleled flavor and culinary artistry. The mango sticky rice is an ambrosial delight, its sweet and creamy texture elevating your senses. The sweet and spicy chicken offers a tantalizing kick, perfectly balancing heat and subtle sweetness.

The beef pho is a fragrant and filling masterpiece, while the crispy pork belly provides a delightful contrast in both texture and taste. The pièce de résistance is the cucumber salad: a symphony of spicy, tangy, and sweet flavors that leaves you craving more. LA Kitchen doesn’t just cook food; they create an unforgettable experience for your taste buds.
