I don’t know what the burrito was we ate, but it had steak inside with three different sauces on the top. The steak was delicious as well as the sauces. Two of us shared it with enough leftover for another good size snack. Would definitely return if in the area.

Food was decent. It may be that we are not from this part of the country, but the food was just ok and not worth the money. Everything tasted like it needed something for more flavor. The staff was nice, but busy. The restaurant is very small.

We love El Tap. It’s one our favorite restaurants in the area. Food is good at great prices (and accompanied by generously large Margheritas!)

You can never go wrong with El Tapatio. Huge menu so there is something for everyone. I have never had anything that was bad or even subpar here. They make a killer Molé sauce that is delicious on their enchiladas. Their crispy chile relleno is by far the best in town. Huge servings, great price, good drinks and wonderful service. Both the gj and fruita locations are great.

The food was pretty good. They have a window to order from your vehicle and the food is ready faster than the Wendy’s just down the road!! The churros, however, were not plated the way a to go order should have been plated I think. They come with whipped cream, and naturally, by the time we made it home, that had melted and made the churros soggy. I would suggest separate containers for the cold items like the whipped cream, and sour cream, etc. We encountered the same problem with the sour cream and the guacamole for the chicken quesadilla. Both were on top rather than on the side and were hot and watery. We also requested that they leave the tomatoes off of one dish but there was still tomatoes. Self-service was quick and friendly but they should rethink their to-go options as far as containers and what food gets placed with what. Just doing that would have made me give at least four stars and would give recommendations for this fast, convenient option.

We ate here last night. Our goal was to try a Mexican restaurant that we had not tried before. As compared to other local Mexican restaurants, the food seemed less authentic. I felt like the meat was not high quality, but have no way to prove that! I ordered a chicken burrito, but was given beef instead (sort of tasted like canned tomato sauce with hamburger). The servers and hostess were nice, which is important, but the food has to be great. I felt like it was expensive for the quality.
