The customer service was unbelievable. I had to wait on the chicken I think they had to cook it. She gave me a $10 gift card for waiting along with banana pudding. The banana pudding was sweet but really good. I got the macaroni and cheese as a side. It was the best I have had in a long time. The OG sandwich was good.

So glad that we found this place. Enjoyed top notch service. Neat atmosphere. The food came out super fast and hot. The OG fried chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce was fantastic. Plus all the fixings: fries, collard greens, white beans, cheddar biscuits, banana pudding, and cookies! Everything hit the spot. We wiped our plates clean. The food is unbelievable. The chicken fingers, cheddar biscuits, Banana pudding, and tender sauce are an easy 10/10. They aren’t allowed to do this, but at least for me, they let me get cheddar biscuits instead of fries for the tender box combo. The 4 piece tender box combo with cheddar biscuits instead of fries is AMAZING (Their fries aren’t good imo). The workers are also kind. Best fried chicken place ever. This location is probably the best location I’ve been to.

Pulled up to Waldo’s in Franklin for the first time. Got the 4 Tender Box with all the fixings. Here’s how it really went:
The fries were the highlight. Fresh-cut, hot, seasoned just right—crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Straight up 10/10.
Tenders did their job. Crispy, seasoned, and dipped in that White BBQ + Tender Sauce combo, it came together solid. Not the best ever, but definitely worth grabbing again.
The bread? Mid. It had a nice toast on it, but let’s keep it real—it ain’t touching Raising Cane’s toast. No wow factor. Just there.
Coleslaw? Sharp and vinegary. Not terrible, but that bite was a little aggressive. Ain’t for everybody.
The lemonade fruit tea? Disappointing. Sounded good, but didn’t have much flavor. More like watered-down potential than refreshing.
Vibes in the spot were chill. They got that wall full of beer cans, and the staff moved quick. Food came out fresh, no complaints on the service.
Would I go back?
Yeah—but I’m coming back for the fries and tenders, not the bread or drink.

I saw an add that Waldo’s was a sponsor for a local youth sports club so I decided to try it out after a game. I Ordered 1/4 white meat fried chicken plate w two sides. Food was pretty good+chicken was juicy -not dry. Drive thru service was excellent. I’ll be back.

Nice chicken and BEER place. The beer aspect stands out compared to other chicken places. Staff was very helpful in correcting my online order that was sent to the wrong restaurant. Did not partake in the beer as I was getting pick up, but plenty of people were enjoying the bar. Potatoes are freshly cut and are hanging out by the register.

Waldo’s is a really fun, casual laid back restaurant. Their specialty is just like the sign says…”Chicken and Beer”. Good selection of beer on tap and chicken pretty much any way you would want it prepared. Chicken fingers, sandwiches, salads and half chickens. I would recommend the “Fowl Mouth” sandwich. It was so good! Had a really nice habanero heat, it was a little messy, but isn’t every great sandwich?!
Our bartender was really nice. He was also really young and forgot our drinks a few times. We did have fun and I’m sure we’ll be back!

I reached out via the website about a potential catering order. I was contacted same day and over the phone I explained I was not from the area but was given Waldos as a recommendation for an upcoming event. Nardin, the Catering Manager invited me in to taste catering options to ensure we chose the right menu for my team. For over an hour she and the Store Manager brought out different plates, explained how they were made fresh in house, answered all questions and went over different options. I was blown away the experience as I often place catering orders for work and have never had the high level of service and quality I experienced today. If I could give ten starts I would. Amazing team and amazing product. Looking forward to receiving our catering order for my team. Thank you!
