What an amazing find. We arrived earlyish evening and asked for a table for 2 in broken French and were welcomed warmly. A Wife and Husband family run restaurant with wonderful attentive service, an extensive wine list and really lovely well cooked and presented food. Quite a special place. Initially the menu looked a bit small but the quality of the food was excellent. The wine list is extensive and we received fantastic service for a busy place. The server said she chooses all the wines herself, visiting most of the wineries personally. I would go back for certain if we had more time in Beaune. Top 3 meal on this trip.
I had the pigeon which was excellent and wine choice that was very unique. Loved it.

Oh my gosh. Well – we have all had experiences that are absolutely unforgettable. This is one for me. Absolutely outstanding food and incredible service. A small but mighty menu that appears to change to the season. This restaurant is ran by a couple, and we were treated to so much information from one of the pair on what we were about to eat. I had pigeon (for the first time in my life) and was shocked by how tender it was. Other stand outs were the apple dessert and chocolate mousse. And, my goodness, I’ll never forget the mushroom and poached egg I had to start. Honestly talking about each dish seems like a waste of time. It doesn’t matter – I don’t think you can have a bad plate be served to you here. It’s that good. Make a reservation right away!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in years, better than many restaurants with a Michelin star. Restaurant has only 24 covers – so booking is essential and it books over 2 weeks forward. Service is provided by the ultra attentive Agnes working solo, who glides efficiently around. The a la carte menu is narrow – only 3 choices for each of starter, main and dessert, with a tasting menu also offered being a 4 course combination of the 9 a la carte dishes. The cooking is sublime, an innovative fusion of flavours, and the mains’ portion sizes were generous. Very extensive wine list with bottles from EUR35 upwards and Agnes knows her wine. Good value for money. Highly recommended.
