Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and the service truly made the night. Susan was outstanding. Easily some of the best service I’ve had anywhere. She was knowledgeable, confident with her recommendations, and absolutely nailed every suggestion. She did not steer me wrong with the peanut butter chocolate pie, which was unreal, or the chimichanga steak with the chicken enchiladas, both were excellent.
What really stood out was how attentive and proactive Susan was. I never had to wait for anything. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask. Every dish was great, everything came out perfectly timed, and the whole experience felt effortless. If you’re dining here, ask for Susan. She elevates the entire restaurant.

Best Founding Farmers I have been to yet. I have been to a few in the DMV but this one so far has topped them all. The food was great and the drinks as well. Our waiter was amazing and definitely made the experience more enjoyable. We tried a few small dishes while we chatted about this and that. We ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes, Skillet Cornbread & Honey Butter (which was not dry ), and the massive meatball. So good can’t remember the name of that bad boy haha. We also sampled a bit of their seasonal cocktail menu which had an amazing selection. Top three are the top three to choose from in that order. I really enjoyed coming here. I kinda always thought the Founding Farmers that I went to before were good but nothing to run home and tell your neighbors about. This one is it. Definitely the best one and on point. Absolutely coming back.

I visited this place some time ago, but the experience was memorable enough that I wanted to share it now. It had such a lively and modern atmosphere! The high ceilings with exposed industrial design, combined with warm lighting and stylish decor, gave the restaurant a trendy yet comfortable vibe. It felt casual enough for a coffee or brunch with friends, but also energetic enough for a fun dinner outing.
The food was fresh, colorful, and full of flavor. Each dish was well-presented—from the vibrant salads to the hearty mains and perfectly brewed coffee. The portions were generous, and everything tasted balanced and satisfying. The latte was smooth and creamy, while the black coffee had a bold, rich flavor that paired beautifully with the meal.
Service was quick and attentive despite the restaurant being quite busy, which made the dining experience even better. Even though some time has passed since my visit, I still remember it as a great spot for both food and atmosphere. Food was top notch as per usual but Michael was personable and efficient. I am pregnant and had a complicated order and not once did I feel like I was being judged (you’d be surprised how often that happens with my craving requests)

I have been coming to Founding Farmers regularly over the past couple of weeks, and every visit is made better thanks to Alyssa and John behind the bar. They always greet me warmly, make thoughtful recommendations on all the Happy Hour specials, and their attentiveness really stands out.

Paid $300 for Christmas brunch/lunch and the bathroom is absolutely atrocious!!! No paper towels, dirty everything, and one tiny bacteria spreading hand dryer. Seriously what in the world?? Service was great but I felt like 80% of my bill went to their rent and in GM pocket.

Went for Sunday brunch. Our server, Gomez, was excellent! He was friendly, efficient , and attentive. The food was good, but there was no biscuits and gravy (husband’s favorite), and some of the food (for example, fried chicken) could have used a bit more seasoning/marination. The atmosphere was delightful ! I LOVED the beautiful tea service, and appreciated the cloth napkins and, overall more upscale atmosphere. Will definitely visit again!

My waiter, Kevin was awesome! His recommendations were fantastic! He recommended the devil-ish eggs, the homemade soda, and the spatchcock chicken. All were bangers! I’ll be back for sure.
