Unfortunately when we got there they were closed for the season. I just remembered from back in the 70’s that if you went to OC NJ you had to go to Bob’s Grill. The only thing were were able to do was rent bikes and the people couldn’t have been any nicer.

I had pancakes and turkey bacon and I was from heaven. The service was amazing the waitress have 56 years working in the place… it must be a great place to work. I got to meet the owner and customers were in love taking pictures with the Real Bob and wife. What a treat!!!!. Form the place I watch Les the babies parade! Next year I wish I can be here again

After renting bikes from them, I expected the same quality and service in the restaurant, so we checked it out. Their food was at most average, with most of the dishes (pancakes, sausage) being low effort compared to their prices. Their service was sub par but I gave them 2 stars due to their exceptional donuts. I would not come back.

We had our daughter’s Newlywed Breakfast at Bob’s and it was beyond wonderful. Joyce, Sue and the rest of the staff were so kind to us and easy to work with. The food was delicious and the view I had of the ocean as I was enjoying my breakfast was beautiful. Thank you, Bob’s, for everything.

I have fond memories of this place from my childhood, but lunch today will likely be our last visit. It was terrible and ridiculously expensive for what we got. Pictured are the “loaded fries” we ordered. I hope this is just an issue with the season getting started, as I’d hate to think this is what Bob’s is now. Our waitress was super nice though.

If there was a zero star i would have rated it a 0. The experience was awful. I can take bad service and good food or even good service and bad food, but this was the ultimate worst place i have ever been in my life, the food was terrible and the waitress was even worse. We ordered a cheesesteak hoagie which i will post a picture of and chicken fingers and fries and this is what we got and then when we told our waitress the order was wrong and the food was unacceptable she never came back to our table except to hand us a 50$ check and walk away when none of the food was consumed at all. She didn’t offer us boxes or something else which i didn’t want but it was just the hospitality for me of just completely disregarding us. We left all of the food on the table and this is what it looked like when we left. We will never ever go to this place again and i will make sure everyone i know steers very clear of it as well. It’s sad that management wasn’t even willing to make it right. It looks like I’m not the only one that feels this way now seeing the other reviews.

Premium prices for low quality food. Two eggs with toast, two chocolate chip pancakes, 6 frozen chicken nuggets, a low quality double cheeseburger (fries not included), and a lobster salad. Drinks were one “large” 10oz Apple juice, one “large” 10oz orange juice, one lemonade, one cup of coffee, one chocolate milk, and one cup of NJ tap water. Total price with all taxes, fees, and tip included came out to $105.55. I gave the waitress, Kaylee, her 20% tip because she was a good waitress, however, I would not recommend this establishment for a family to eat out at. As aforementioned, the low quality of the food does not reflect the premium prices of the food. Avoid at all costs.

Came in here for breakfast today, Bob’s has a nice variety of different kinds of breakfast foods to choose from, their eggs are always cooked fantastically. Our waitress, Jill, was very kind and the food was delicious today. Great place to stop at on the boardwalk for breakfast! If you’re not in the mood for a sit down breakfast, they also have amazing fresh and hot donuts you can order at the counter.
