Great little place in Spring Hill. Great atmosphere… rustic. Food good. Oysters were wonderful, the fried pickles were quite tasty. The BLT for a gourmet style …. i would have had the toast more golden buttery crispy instead of just a slightly toasted (that’s just me). Handmade drinks…. all from scratch… good variety of beers. overall a nice place to chill out. The wait staff were great.

The sandwich I had was awesome. Service was great as well. If I’m in the area again I would come here again to try some of the unique items they have. They also have a decent beer selection. I didn’t have any whiskey while I was there, but they did have a good whiskey menu posted on the wall.

55 South is one of my favorite local spots. Brunch here is the best! They have an amazing variety of items on the brunch menu to please anyone’s taste buds. I love the chicken and waffles or the Lost Bread French toast. My husband loves the breakfast tacos and the Huevos rancheros. It’s also a great lunch or dinner place. Great bar to go watch a sports game or hangout. The team at 55 South are always friendly and helpful. Fun atmosphere with interesting decor.

What a wonderful restaurant! Traveling thru Franklin, we stopped off for lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed the po boy and the pimento cheese, Green tomato, bacon BLT was fantastic. Loved the atmosphere and the pick up truck benches. Service was fast and friendly.

I’m a huge fan of their Mahi Reuben, it’s original and tasty. I used to drive to Franklin often to enjoy it… very happy 55 South made it to Spring Hill.
The brunch was pretty amazing as well. I highly recommend the Nashville Hot Chicken & French Toast, so good!
The service is great and it’s a great place for families.

Good food, great service and it’s happy hour!
What more could you ask? Double burger was cooked medium to perfection…deviled eggs delicious and creamy…local craft beer served cold! Server Sunny was exceptional!

The highs: bartender was super nice and attentive, grilled oysters and Pimento BLT were delish. Lows: seafood gumbo was not very good and the rice they added was super crunchy almost inedible, stramed broccoli side was undercooked and served in a cup with a bunch of water.

I don’t know if I came in on an off day, but the food was really bad. It was the brunch menu. I got a dirty bird, which is supposed to be bbq chicken on texas toast with a fried egg. The chicken was pulled chicken and tasted like it was covered in tomato sauce instead of bbq. The texas toast was so soggy I couldn’t pick it up. The sweet potato fries were okay, but nothing to brag about. I ordered a kids chicken tender meal and the chicken was just okay. Overall disappointing.

The menu has very little to choose from, which isn’t all bad if everything on the menu was delicious which it is not, I had the cheesesteak it was a bit spicy(that was ok) not much meat and it was chewy, fell apart had to eat with a knife & fork, fries were ok. My husband had potato salad that tasted bitter and hardly any potatoes, coleslaw was like eating cabbage with a little sour cream, & hot chicken was not spicy at all and was on a slice of bread! We would not recommend this place or go back!!
