Food was super flavorful and delish! Tried this gem on a whim and it did not disappoint.
Can’t wait to go back and try their lunch! If ever in the area, give them a try! We shared a bon temps breakfast and an eggs sardou. Staff was on point and super friendly.

Bob Temps has the Louisiana style Cajun food you crave! Super cool handmade art on the walls. Very friendly staff. So many good varieties of hot sauce, including their own homemade. Super cool neighborhood next to the train station.

My first time here and I enjoyed the atmosphere and music. My family is from Louisiana so I wanted to give this place a try. Serving sizes were big and their fried green tomatoes were on point. I also had the pain perdu which was way to sweet for me but I’m eager to return to try something else.

This place was great! Massive selection of home comfort food, comfy booth seating, and generous coffee refills. The sausage celery omelette was delicious and the grits were comforting. They also have a fun artichoke eggs Benedict!

This is the FIRST place you need to go to upon arriving in SLO. When I tell you EVERY single bite we had was flavor packed, perfectly cooked, and memorable!
We had the southern eggs benedict, faitdodo, and french toast. A+++
The interior is warm and festive, and only to be topped by the wonderful staff and food! I will be singing my praises for this establishment for a long time to come!
Also, that green hot sauce will haunt me … so good!!!

Picked this establishment as outside patio was available for our canine. Ordered our food and comfortably waited as the patio is well shaded. The combination of beans, sausage and hollandaise sauce was pretty good! I would like to try other items on the menu when I am back in SLO.
There is a large parking area near the restaurant.

Holy beignets, this place is great!
Try their “Cajun Pain Perdu” if you’ve got a sweet tooth to tame. Their honey-rum sauce (in place of maple syrup) was amazing. Try putting some in their coffee for a fun additional flavor too
For a more savory dish, try their “Eggs Sardou” … it’s a vegetarian dish but was so delicious, my wife loved it! If you like artichoke hearts you’ll wanna try this. This is pictured in my review.
Their kids French toast were very nice for kids dishes, with lots of whipped cream which we really appreciated since our kiddos love to devour that first (and gives us time to eat some of our food without distraction!)
Lastly, try their “Creole Carnitas” too…just a plate of delicious Carnitas as a side and I devoured it within minutes.
We’ll come back for their various red-bean dishes

Stopped by Bon Temps in SLO for brunch and it definitely lived up to the hype. It has that cozy, welcoming vibe and felt like a true hidden gem. The staff was super friendly and on top of things, even when it got busy. Portions are generous. Great spot if you’re craving something hearty with a Southern twist. Would definitely come back!

I ordered a coffee and the Faitdodo, which was delicious and prepared fairly quickly. The eggs, beans, and sausage were great, and the biscuit was so fluffy. A touch of their branded hot sauce from the table added some nice kick to the plate. Heads-up that their website is very out-of-date as prices go, and the prices have gone up since other menu photos have been posted here. Speaking of which, the Faitdodo was 17.45 on the menu and came up 18.45 on my bill, but I shrugged this time since I felt it may have indicated another increase coming. I hope they continue to do well though because I imagine the rent is high at their location.
